This is exactly my line of thought. I wouldn't want to risk any potential loss of updates from him, which is what the hackers seem to ignore. I just know that I would be too curious and would have to watch him like a hawk. I live in the WA/ID area and I spend a lot of time in Spokane, which is partially what interests me so much in this weirdo.

Suffice it to say, if I ever run into the Wernster, I'll post a TRUE AND HONEST story about the experience.

We already knew that Lucas is an incel, but if anyone needs clear proof that he is one his response to this comment is it. He's no feminist at all. All he needs now is a fedora, so he can tip his way over to Incels.org. I'm sure they'd love him over there.

Lucas has lost all self-awareness to the point where he can't see that anything he is doing may be awful, or just plain dumb in nature.

Also, is anyone able to briefly explain what the plot of Wound is? All it's been so far is just rambling and pointless exposition. We're 150 pages in, and Lucas hasn't even introduced the characters yet.

I really don't think the Monroe Street bridge area is the worst part of Spokane and honestly Lucas is lucky that he got stuck in Spokane. In comparison to literally any other big city in Washington, he is in safer place. There isn't a ton of gang violence or terribly bad areas in Spokane like there are in Seattle or Tacoma. Spokane has an abundance of tweekers. More than the average city by far. Tweekers can be huge pieces of shit but they're not gang members. They're everywhere in Spokane though, that's for sure and it makes me stay away from the city for the most part.. lol But if you look it up there are hardly ever any shootings in Spokane. I think the last major shooting was a police officer shooting a suspect in fact.

Lucas has been acting really hostile lately and I don't think this is going to end well or in his favor. He is being a major fucking creep and an asshole. At this rate he is going to be talking to himself very soon since he is blocking everybody who doesn't agree with his asinine thought process of women being objects with no free will. I really hope people keep disagreeing with him on his statuses so I can see his what he does next after he realizes that he's completely isolated himself from the outside world.

Did we verify that the twitter that popped up is for sure his? I checked it yesterday and whoever it is was posting statuses at a manic rate like a complete fucking spaz.

Most of these institutions are voluntary. He can be Baker Acted, but that only lasts for about 72 hours(correct me if I'm wrong). The last time he was in a mental institution was because his mother actually made the trip and intervened. Unless a close family member (relationship and distance) decides to intervene, most places tend to operate under the principle of "we help you when you want to help yourself".

That's also the only time any kind of therapy works. You can't just put somebody into an institution (or CBT or whatever) and just assume he'll get better by the virtue of being in one. Therapists are not magicians. It's not like with an open wound where a doctor theoretically can fix it whether you want it or not. One of the cornerstones of our lolcows is that they don't want to be helped. They blame everything and the kitchen sink for their problems, they don't see anything wrong with their behavior so they go in circles that often just get more and more narrow and also not rarely cause them more distress by doing so. Still there's no way to help if help is not wanted. Lucas doesn't want help. In his view he's in the right and everyone else is wrong. It would not surprise me if he doesn't even take his medication. It's too common with such people. Of course the tragic thing is that mental illness can keep somebody from realizing that they need help but that help often can't be forced anyways, even if the laws were different. Like with addicts, people usually have to hit rock bottom but unlike most addicts, they might not even realize when they do.

Thing is with Lucas, even if somehow a honest-to-god Genie would grand him a wish and make that 19 year old manic pixie dreamgirl appear that declares his undying devotion to him, it wouldn't even solve his mental anguish. It'd just cause other kinds of trainwrecks. He's so, so far away from understanding this though that I don't think he'll ever get better or get helped.

I would find it hard to believe that he is taking his medications right now. He has said multiple times that he no longer is mentally ill and that his first evaluations were wrong. He only claims to be mentally ill when it benefits him to do so. It's obvious that he thinks he is right and everybody else is wrong, especially lately. His posts are starting to become more incoherent just like they were before he was sent away last time. He's pretty much stuck in this cycle of being in a ward, getting out and presumably taking his meds for a while, and then convincing himself he is okay until he stops taking them and becoming a nutcase again. At least that's what I think is probably happening. And it's not like he will become less crazy with age, it's only going to get worse.
