If Phil had the choice between having only 10 viewers but all of them were paypigs or having 2,500 viewers but only 10 of them were paypigs, he'd choose the former. He hates managing a chat full of people that have the temerity to do such heinous acts like having their own conversations and trying to entertain themselves. He would much rather have a small group of cultists that will behave exactly to his standards. Anything that makes it easier for him to sit on his sagging couch and beg for money, that's the route he takes. The bumbling sociopaths he gives mod powers to don't do him any favors. He got the fuck out of there when he realized he would have no control over Cryaotic's fans and his mods would only make him look bad. Funny how the people he should have the most trust in are those he has the least.

Gonna throw in my 2 cents, I think the reason he shut shit down last night was fear. He knew he couldn't pull all the tax shit with a brand new audience. He'd be there crying about losing his house and needing X amount to keep it. Someone at least from Crys stream would've called his bullshit publicly. Keep in mind a lot of streamers attract a lot of people as fans. I've seen Lawyers, Chefs, Firefighters, Police, Musicians etc fans of certain streamers. All it would take is 1 person who hasn't drunk the kool-aid and knows what they're talking about to call his shit and his whole scam is fucked.

He knew this, he knows his dedicated fan base is mostly children and the mentally deficient and knew it wouldn't work on a different streamers audience. A lot of people won't just take his word as law. They're called normal people.

That and he knows he's not entertaining to watch. That reputation spreading on Twitch would kill him faster than he's killing himself. He didn't even consider playing 1 more match, and there's no way the thought didn't cross his mind. He was looking at chat when they were spamming "1 more".

That plus none of them were tipping or cheering.

Honestly the ultimate description of DSP's "career" is essentially: During a fundraising stream he got raided and gained 2k viewers, in 15 minutes he drove off 800 of them and then decided to end the stream with 1200 viewers who could donate because it was the "end of his stream schedule" and to him streaming even an extra 20 minutes would be "more work" to him. Just, what an accurate description to him.

The guy who puts in the least effort possible, but still wants that 2k goal, the guy who throws away opportunities but still wants the rewards of those opportunities.

It's legit. You can look up property tax due based on address as it's public information. So you could take the address in the first post and look for yourself. One question is whether or not property tax is included in his monthly mortgage payment. I know my mortgage payment has a set amount that is put into an escrow account specifically for property tax payment (only once annual, and the mortgage payment is adjusted every 12 months to meet it). If not, this would be the "big tax payment" he has due on the 30th (see his pinned tweet on twitter).

Edit: Not sure why that person, as shared by @drgnkiller , is saying that the CT tax stuff is a lie. Phil could easily owe property tax, back state taxes, and federal taxes. The only real question is the amount, imo. The approximately $2k owed does match up nicely, though.

That was most likely a mistake by whoever entered it in. The two registrations were almost certainly one to account for the back taxes owed, and a second one for taxes moving forward. No idea why they would split it into two, but maybe it was just simpler that way for determining the back taxes.

If he uploaded longer videos it wouldn't take so goddamn long for them to upload and if one or two parts got messed up it would be easier to reupload or fix.

Also I really hope his plan isn't to make Uncle Sam come get his money from Him. The government will buttfuck him. No vaseline and then throw his ass in prison lol

HIs property tax bill seems to get brought up in here every 6 months and it is such a none issue. It would be an exceptionally rare situation for this not be rolled up into his monthly mortgage payment, most loans require that it is included in the month payments. His bank holds the money in an escrow account and pays this on his behalf, Phil is not writing a check, at best he gets a notice once a year just letting him know how much property tax he paid or if it has changed from the previous year. Making this into an issue only makes Phil look correct when he says all his detractors are children who do not understand how the world works. If you think this is an issue you in fact do not understand how home ownership works in the US.

I think we're all seeing the tip of his idiocy iceberg. I imagine that he was so greedy over taxes in his early youtube career that he pulled some "tax haxz" in order to keep more of his youtube dollars. Now it's all catching up to him.

I don't even know why people try anymore...this no nail in the "tax situation" coffin.

And even if it was, Phil could easily explain it away with some half-assed, half-truth lie that everyone would eat hook, line and sinker anyway.

That's if he even addresses this AT ALL.

If this is true, he'll most likely just tell people to fuck off and believe "fabricated", "falsified bullshit" if they want to and go back to BUSSNASS as usual.

Phil is exceptional, but he's an evil genius with his words when it comes to explaining away things.
