You'd think a university would do a research paper on this.
Actually there was some research done on this-- But mostly on tumblr when it had been found out a teenager ad cyberbullied herself into suicide. https://www.theguardian.com/society/2014/mar/10/self-harm-sites-cyberbullying-suicide-web

"Tallulah Wilson, a 15-year-old who killed herself in 2012, was caught up in a "toxic digital world", according to her mother, while the parents of Sasha Steadman, a 16-year-old who died from a suspected drug overdose in January after looking at self-harm sites, said her "impressionable mind" had been filled "with their damning gospel of darkness". [...]"

It can be said the same can be said for Twitter, as the same toxic mindset flows over there too.

"The compelling story of an acclaimed journalist and New York Times bestselling author's ongoing struggle with epilepsy--his torturous decision to keep his condition a secret to avoid discrimination, and his ensuing decades-long battle to not only survive, but to thrive."

Where's a 'hilarious' rating when you need it?

Similar to what can be found on Twitter yes, but I was thinking a research paper dedicated to Twitter addiction, dependency and culture. Self destruction through Twitter is so common place now days and fuels craziness in other people. Same can be said with Tumblr, but Tumblr isn't as addicting as Twitter is.

According to his 1989 interview he said his doctor told him to keep it quiet but he didn't want to do that. I don't know of any doctor that would tell you to keep something like that from your future bosses.

It's like he "forgot" that interview for personal gain...Shocking I know.

You'd think sensitivity to flashing lights might be a thing of concern to employers when you work in the field of journalism.

He might have to sit out on a press conference here or there, or avoid some big events because sometimes people bring cameras with flash-illuminating technology. It's rare, but it could occur at least once or twice while working as a "journalist." Not big enough to tell an employer about, just bring it up when your secret payments under pseudonyms are to child traffickers are found.

So is Kurt in the hospital for a stress-induced seizure or something? Or maybe his wife got him a psychiatric hold?
It's funny to think that a lot of this started with Kurt Eichenwald accusing Trump of being committed to a mental institution. Kurt might actually need that, right now.

He got ratio'd pretty hard on his tweet about the "bogus" email. Then his next tweet he says "I'm trying", the context of which is that he was responding to someone asking if he's going to do anything about all of the 'bots and trolls' on his timeline.

The last tweet before he went inactive 4 days ago is shittalking that Laura Ingraham lady.

The behind the scenes mental breakdown probably has something to do with the "bogus email" tweet being called out.

Dependently when back in the day when computer screens weren't as good as they are now. Refresh rate on a monitor can set off autists, so I'm sure it can do the same to an epileptic sped. Plus the guy drives, and if he does that at night that'll also set him off. I think he's just been lying about it for nearly 30 years for pity because he's never shown proof of his illness and having a doctor conveniently telling you to never tell your employer about your seizure's would I think lead into a lawsuit right?

By the way, you know how people think Kurt's kids distanced themselves from Kurt?
One is in Pennsylvania, another one is in Brooklyn and the last one is in Connecticut

Kurt's been on his website (which hasn't been updated in years, last blog was 2012)

And although he is most definitely active online now, he also hasn't updated his Facebook

Simon & Schuster aren't even publishing his newest book, Ballantine Books are.

I thought he was posting content on his blog and claiming it's him doing proper journalism in lieu of actually working. What the hell has he been doing for the past few years, beyond twitter and a few TV appearances?

I think it's simply because nobody read his blog (or his public Facebook page, which also acted as a blog space) whereas on twitter he had a large audience and validation. It's much easier to rant on 20-odd thread than write an article, plus he had the luxury of deleting anything and moderating what comments were coming back at him. Twitter is also a good way of making it look you are doing something/working, when in fact you are doing sweet FA (ala Brianna)

Screeching into the void with no response is unbearable for someone like Kurt. But anyway he hasn't done anything other than be a NEET.

Geez, he really is some weird alternate dimension Andrew Dobson who somehow managed to stumble into a brief moment of success.
