To be fair, I find it very difficult to emotionally invest myself in Kurt's wellbeing, and I think a lot of other people would say the same. It was always going to be a rough fall for him from his idea of how important he is to the reality of how important he is. People are entranced by tragedy; this just happens to be pretty funny tragedy.
