Yeah it started as that, can't ever repost same image, can't ever post same post text that was already made on the board before. This has led to some memes like Pepe receiving incredible amounts of variation as people tailored them to particular thread and to avoid the limitation without just altering a few pixel hues. Problem was that 4chaj always had these tfw no gf sexually frustrated types, and they congregated in many places like /v/, despite their self-pity and whining being tangentially relevant to board topics. And when /r9k/ became a thing they got a new outlet for the bitching, and as their contingent on 4chan was surprisingly big they eventually started dominating the board, which even led to removal of original robot 9000 script, leaving the place as a containment board for incel virgin types.
This is not entirely correct, the script is not targeted at pictures but merely at text. The script was temporarily revoked but has returned since a long time.
Over the course of the last few days, it has been uncovered that /r9k/ trap threads are part of an organized conspiracy to convert bitter autistic outcasts into feminized trap sex slaves; and, at the center of this plan, is Reiko.
The above is not a joke.

..which doesn't exactly contain any hard evidence. However, it didn't take long for screenshots of the aforementioned discord group to surface.
Reiko, as illustrated above, imagines himself to be an anime villain.
As this information came out, /r9k/ decided to temporarily ban trap content. Reiko, unfazed, tried to circumvent filters.
/r9k/ users, having realized their plight, set out to spread awareness. Robots created graphics such as this:
Meanwhile, noted e-drama commentator Mr. Metokur started circulating information on mainstream social media.
Of course, proof of the blackmail and coercion element eventually surfaced:
People started to dig up information on Reiko himself..
Unfortunately, his profile(linked at the top of this post) is now private...
At some point, Reiko realized he was now a target and began expressing some regrets.
Of note is that the recent /r9k/ suicide is believed to have been linked to Reiko - though I've not personally come across a great wealth of evidence.
As this story is still developing, information on Reiko and his accomplices is still being uncovered and verified. There are several (probably false) doxes floating around, and since none seem to have been confirmed, I've refrained from including any here. However, as information does get confirmed having an organized thread will prove useful.

Looks like the whole find Reiko's dox thing has become a giant clusterfuck since fake dox has been spread around. Looks like he lives in Rhode Island from the pic of him talking about getting banned and his steam profile, so the illinois dox is probably fake.
