Most of the dirt from that document wasn't a total surprise considering that I heard it before, but this JewWario shit? Damn, talk about a fucking game changer.

Wow, I had a lot to catch up and this new revelation about JewWario's dirty secrets is shocking to say the least. TBH, I expected CA to completely ignore the sexual abuse accusations made by that one anon in the Contrubutor's Document but, amazingly, they did respond and of course it all went spiralling down in a blink. Why did the commented on it? They could have said it was fake, they could have simply shut up about it... but nooo, :autism: is a powerful force.
I think CA deserves to disappear. They are so inept and so unfit to run a business of any size, it really surprises me how far they went with all this.

They commented on it because it showed they did do what they were supposed to. They received a complaint, investigated it and acted on it.

All of this could've been avoided had they just issued an apology with their initial response, one that at least read sincerely. The backlash from "sorry you feel that way" is what led to people reaching out to their advertisers, making them pull out, which led to this second response and now a screaming comes across the sky.

I don't think even a better worded apology would have satisfied them, given how big the list of grievances was. This was going to happen sooner or later given the :autism: involved in making this a public shitshow. And now almost none of them looks good in the court of public opinion.

That was Ok-ish. It ultimately showed they did the right thing but being the turbospeds they are, they fucked it up in the end by providing proof of his identity. for me, they had two choices: either say the contributor was laid off and end the subject matter or outright make no comment about it. They choose the tard way of excusing themselves and accidentally revealing the predator's identity. Again, complete incompetence.

LordKaT and everyone who escaped before this shitshow are the only ones who have not been affected by the recent drama. Everyone else has a big shitstain on their resume, while LordKaT has been vindicated, while the others who left before the whole incident don't have to deal with it.

One of the things that really made me hate CA was how they kept shittalking IG for being an unprofessional hack who was only relevant because he ripped off AVGN.
It made me realize that they were no different.

Whoa, big drop just now. Bennett and Battle Geek Plus dropped as claimed by Larry, but so did Toons These Days and Bargain Boy. Screen Crashers was also removed, presumably for inactivity.

God the thread has been moving fast since the JW bombshell.
The way I see it, they said in the chat log they had talked with a lawyer. That's likely why no one outside of the higher ups knew the full scope. I can't blame them for keeping it under wraps if that's what a lawyer advised; likely they told the contributors that JW was let go for inappropriate behaviour with a fan at a con. They just let their imaginations fill in the rest, and kept it on the down low as they were likely advised.
Still, if this doesn't completely implode CA for good, I don't know what will. This is huge, and I have to say as a former TGWTG fag, I am sort of sad and disappointed. I had gone to JW streams and found him to be a genuinely nice guy. Sort of sad to see someone fall so far so quickly.
(Part of me still wants to cast doubt on him being an outright rapist. The accuser can say what she wants since the accused is dead, after all. We'll never know the full extent of what happened for sure, because it's only her side to tell now.)

This is completely mind-blowing. In less than a month, CA has been sucked completely dry. Even the people nobody cared about aren't there anymore. I didn't think it would happen this quickly. CA is essentially dead; there's nobody there to contribute.
I really wonder if Mike's going to accept defeat. The way he's been acting seems to me like he's hellbent against giving up and would rather go down with the ship.
