He's gone dark, which means odds are good he's out of Islams and, lacking any place to stay, has no way to recharge his phone.

He's convinced he'll be assassinated if he goes to the embassy, and Jace was ordering him to go into Gaza, so unless we get some sign of life in the next week or so, it's safe to write him off as an operational casualty.

Kind of sad to think about, really.

Oh, no question.

The sad part is when you stop and think that someone otherwise college educated managed to think, at some point, that going to Israel to hunt for trolls and Tupac was a good idea.

The sadness comes from the realization that the bar just got that much lower.

To be frank, OPL has a fucking degree from PVCC so throw enough money at some institutions and you can get in.

And given I literally watched a guy throw his chances at a high-degree-earning life away in the middle of his first freshman semester at one of the most prestigious colleges around my area, just to keep playing League of Fucking Legends because he was addicted to it (guy was an asshole, though, so any attempt to stage an intervention never ended well even when somebody got the dorm head involved) and eventually flunked out by virtue of not going to classes anymore, somebody of Eli's stupidity is very real to me.

Not gonna lie, it was fucking surreal. Worst part was my roommate that year was friends with this guy and this one time, he was over until 4 am on a fucking Sunday night playing that game on my roomie's computer while I was trying to get some sleep because I had a test in four hours. How the fuck I managed to ace that math test from hell is anybody's guess but I have despised that fucking game ever since.

Why is everyone thinking Eli's dead? The dude is in a goddamn country that's got a war going on right at their border. Yeah, there's war going on with rocket, missiles, bombs and all that good bang bang boom boom shit, but there's also a fuck load of security now. Chances are he got picked up by the IDF while trying to assemble the secret weapon in a bathroom stall and is either sitting in a detainment cell or being shipped off to some Israeli prison camp to work hard labor until the end of this whole conflict.

...Or his family bailed him out and sent him to Torah Camp for a few weeks.

I'm guessing he's just homeless.

But being the Elioptomist in this thread it's possible he met a woman and is working at some youth support group and turning his life around in some amazing summer feel good movie sort of thing. Really finding himself and getting in touch with the world.

I really, honestly, want to believe this is true. If I had friends (and I use that term loosely) like the Deagle Nation crew, I'd take up an opportunity like that in a heartbeat. Of course, this assumes that one has any brains...
 
He has CIADude420 looking out for him, and that guy is basicaly a CIA agent ok thats my opinion on this site. But seriously I think we would be told if anything had actually happened to him.

I am however amazed there still isn't a conclusion to this mess in sight - honestly, how is this going to end? He won't contact the authorities, his parents seemingly don't give a fuck and Jace wont buy him a ticket home until he finds Tupac. The ride never ends.
