Someone posted this to twitter and holy shit, i recognize this folder naming format. My previous job had the same fucking thing, it has to be a standard.
Take the above highlighted text, and split it by the forward slashes. I'll try and explain (for anyone clueless, this is a location to a file on your pc).
Volumes: Let me see all the hard drives in the server.
CREATIVE_SAN: Total creative: https://totalcreative.com/. An agency based in san fran, and who outsourced everything for this project.
JOBS: self-explanatory
01899_steel_sieres_cannes (this is very interesting):
-"01899" is the job number internally assigned by FCB Chicago, or whoever did the media editing.
-"steel_sieres_cannes" is where it come from. It was a job by steel series, and cannes was where it happened.
"05_graphics" is a sorting rule. Usually if you look in this folder you'll see folders like "01_documents", "02_sounds", "03_videos" and so forth. It's an easy way to sort assets you need for the project.
AEP: Adobe after effects files
032918: The latest revision of the files
Steel_Series-Glitch-KC_10.aep: The after effects file that was used in the final video.
Lets go back to that "this is very interesting" phrase i said in brackets. I'm taking out the job number because that means fuck all to anyone. But we do have the words "steel series" and "cannes". This would suggest the project was for steel series, filmed in cannes.
Google search "steel series" and "cannes" and it leads you to the twitter account @LeHiveBar: http://archive.is/BmCQH. Searching steel series shows the bar made a hashtag with steel series included, having a lan party in a video. This is very recent.
Here's where i can't confirm it, but notice this bar has a lot of exposed brickwork. In this video, look to the far right wall when it focuses in on the crowd: https://clips.twitch.tv/BloodyImpossibleIcecreamSeemsGood
There is a wad of exposed brickwork, which would suggest Le Hive Bar has a viewing basement. They probably have cinema nights, gaming events, all sorts in there. This "troll hunters" reaction video was likely recorded there.
Edit: I've only just watched her video. Her dermal piercing on her cheek looks fresh, aggravated or rejecting. Even with studio lights it looks proper raw.
Guess what Mr. Kettle?

The left is the man front left in the reaction video. The right? An employee of the bar.
I was wrong, gamejournos are in fact this obtuse. Expect to see some corporate whoring articles from Kotaku and Polygon because they cannot distinguish (or do not care) between genuine "harassment issues" and a manufactured marketing campaign.I'd even see gamejournos having a hard time becoming corporate cheerleaders for a marketing campaign so foolish and shallow, at least now that the ruse is so obvious you'd have to be obtuse to ignore it.
So gaming journalism finally returned to being a mouthpiece for marketing. What a circle.I was wrong, gamejournos are in fact this obtuse. Expect to see some corporate whoring articles from Kotaku and Polygon because they cannot distinguish (or do not care) between genuine "harassment issues" and a manufactured marketing campaign.

Source: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/250003578 at around the 42 minute mark.
You see it: https://archive.fo/C3zQA
- PR guy from CyberPowerPC commenting
- Says he wasn't fully in the loop
- the "deal" was supposed to be different, at least "in their minds"
- "we were a little mislead"
- "we endorsed a group, it didn't the way thought it was gonna go [sic] planned. We weren't really informed, I guess, enough. That could be partially our fault as well. We think negatively on that kind of behavior"

So wait...They're going to use dangerhairs to hunt me in game? We all know how terrible these people are at video games so they're no threat. I'm glad sponsors are ditching them. Though I think Steel Series is in it for the long haul, they're really into SJW bullshit.
ITS UP
If he had waited a week or two he probably would have had more content to work with. Even the CyberPowerPC video could have added a few minutes of content to his video. Who knows what SteelSeries might do in the coming days, will the site just get shut down?I am disappointed it felt rushed and more of just poking fun at them instead of his usual destroying his targets outright.
