If Chris was 25% more self aware, or if Barb was capable of exploiting him, he really could cash in on his fame. I suppose the fact that neither of them can is why we follow them, though.

Chris has been cashing in on his fame. He's been putting what basically amounts to literal garbage up for sale, and people have actually been buying it simply because they think having his trash will make them kewl and impress all their friends. Hell, someone even bought his sonic totem for 1.5K. That's a lot of money to throw at a fat autistic tranny-child. And now he has the potential to get that again with his ring. Nobody will buy it for 1oK (God I hope not), but I'm sure he'll eventually bring it down a little lower and someone will snatch it.

As for Barb she's been exploiting Chris for multiple decades in every way she can possibly think of. Honestly I think she's keeping herself alive out of pure spite at this point.

Already have some people more autistic than Chris himself claiming they'd buy the ring.

"This is memorabilia"
Just a fellow reminder, Chris touched his taint with the ring.

The desperation is real.
You know Chris truly is desperate when he has an "everything must go" sale.

What's next, his baby teeth he kept in the "Megan Shrine?"

"Please buy my ring off of Ebay, so I can buy thousands of dollars worth of Lego sets and pay my court bills"
"Long term benefit > short term pleasure" seems to be an alien concept to Chris.

He raised the price to a cool $10,000.View attachment 427005

Yeah, no Chris. I highly doubt anyone, even if they had the money, would buy your ring for that much. Maybe if he got.it professionally cleaned he could get it appraised, and it might sell for $200-$300 if he is lucky. I'm willing to bet that he's going to try and sell the classic shirt again, but instead of asking for $20k for it, he may try asking for $40-$50 k instead.

Honestly I think raising the price ten fold was a subconscious passive way to keep the ring.

Barb was probably all: "sell that damn ring right now! This is your mess!"
I don't know. Bob and Barb never really seemed to understand the cult that sprung up around Chris (not that I blame them for that; it is an odd concept) and I can't see her connecting the dots between Chris, his ironic fans, the amnyfest ring, and weens snapping up Chris's garbage to come up with the idea that his high school ring could be worth a small fortune.

I know hoarders tend to overvalue their crap but this seems like a huge leap even for Babs.

Chris seems to be auto refusing offers.
I offered $1.00, $1.01, $1.02, and even went so far as $3.50; but I got turned down each time.
There's probably a setting on eBay to auto-refuse offers less than a certain threshold value, so Chris doesn't have to deal with hundreds of low-ball offers.

Times when Chris has lied counter has increased yet again.
Y'know, I don't even think it's Chris lying as much as it is a reflection of his belief system du jour.
  • Trolls acquire the original medallion? His power's not in his medallion; it's in his ring.
  • Chris tries to sell the ring? His power's not in the ring; it's in the medallion (even though it was sort of in him all the time).
Doesn't that just sound like the sort of shit that would pass as the moral of the story in those cartoons he watches?

High school rings are virtually valueless, except for maybe the gold in them (for those that are actually made with gold; most aren't). It's a big, clunky ring with a fake glass gem that has all sorts of customizations unique to the school, the graduation year, and the individual. Other than the possibility of provenance (which is exactly what Chris is counting on) there is virtually no resale market for class rings.

Incidentally, that would be his logic process and in outright saying as much, he's robbed all value of the ring because nobody actually wants that piece of shit if Chris suddenly takes away the one thing that made it special in the first place.
