Too many posts to multi-quote on mobile, but.

I don't have a problem with the mob having the damned if he does/doesn't mentality. He treats everyone else & everything in his life with that same principle:
  • give me munny for tacksis // you gave so much munny that now I owe moar tacksis so give me moar munny, faggots
  • i want to organically grow my channel // scampering off like the beta he is when he gets a 2000-viewer gift
  • Spread the word, gize. Help my channel, gift a sub or two, tell ur friends // well gize, 35 gifted subs expired today, i apreesheeate the sub gifting but it doesn't really help me // spread the word, gift subs...
  • false cahpyright strikes (him using other ppl's copyrighted material however he wants wo their permission) // detakturz steal muh intelleckshual prahpurty which iz totally illegal & i should be entitled to stop them and/or get my ad revenue take from that material
  • Nintendo steals my munny // Nintendo's partnership program that would take me 5m to set up & get paid at least something for [ahem] using THEIR IP, is gahrbage & no
  • Patrons can pick the game I play except I'll remove anything from the noms that i don't want voted on // i suck at gaming and therefore i suck at this game & how bad i suck has put me in a bad mood so Patrons are fucktards for picking this game.
I could go on & on, but no. Fucker lives on some other planet where he's entitled to be outraged & abusive when he doesn't get to have shit both ways. He creates both his rock & his hard place and it doesn't bother me when he winds up having to navigate his own pirahna-swarming sea of tears. I think it's totally fair.

Omega and other streamers are now more likely to decline to play with Phil because of the sheer a-logginess of his detractors than wanking on camera and begging for taxes. I always thought snitching for all but the most heinous crimes was frowned upon, it seems with Phils detractors it's something to be proud of. Go figure.

Also "one of the most despicable and toxic people on the internet"? Phil? Not even close. Shit opn Phil when he fucks up but jesus they need perspective.

Agreed, also this is just boring now. With the gaming seat saga it was kind funny but this is just sad. I'd prefer to see Omega kick the shit out of Phil in game than just see another person run a mile. It's always funnier when Phil fucks himself over.

These people take Phil too seriously, I mean he's a cunt and takes money off people. It's hardly the worst thing anyones ever done. It's not even the worse thing someones done today.

If you're Tweet-handle is a reference to Phil, you're too far gone. I'm not talking about the parody accounts that actually do something with it (I think there's a stick figure guy named Bill Parnell, or something), but where you're identity is rolled up in hating on the guy. Sitting on a forum, laying out why his latest comments are complete bullshit, or discussing whether he actually broke some terms of service agreement: fun for the whole family. Whining to a professional wrestler on Twitter that the evil Phil hasn't paid his taxes and is taking a day off: off the fucking reservation.

It would be funny to see omega play against Phil. Omega knows the game while Phil would use every excuse in the book why he loss.

We've been given the opportunity to see Phil get bodied by someone who he isn't likely to whine about having "shit internet" or "unearned win" and people are whining because it might bring DSPGaming some SMALL measure of short-term success? This literally feels like the folks hating on Kat only because Phil was getting laid and they weren't: like you're just hating on the guy to hate on him, no rhyme or real reason behind it.

Here's a hypo question on my mind today. I'm curious what everyone thinks, I can't reach a decision.

If Joffrey was magically given the option to either a) eradicate all traces of all "deetraktur khantent" from the face of the internet, or b) lay claim to their ad revenue & let them all stay, which would he choose?

Greed v. Ego.. title match.

Been there, seen that. Phil played some matches with donors during his 'SFV Patron/Fan Appreciation Event' where he set up a Private lobby and when he got beaten by them, he took the loss albeit blamed the netcode as usual. He complimented them for 'good moves' they excute and didn't belittle them. Additionally, DSP will most likely blame any loss on a bad connection with Japan if he does somehow wind up playing this person as it is my understanding that they live in Japan.

I think his ego would win out and he'd shut down "those mentally ill detractors". Phil is greedy as fuck, but in the past we've seen him let his ego win out over money (Best recent example I can think of is when his stream was recently flooded with people and he just bailed, in Phil's own words "Some things are more important than money").

Honestly, I think he believes that the detractors are the cause of his money issues. Although that may be true to an extent, he started this train rolling himself and steadily keeps it moving with his bad decision making. I agree that he would probably get rid of the detractors.

As always Phil is late. That was a pretty decent draw from what I saw on Twitch. Unless there is some new DLC comoing out soon I doubt he'll have much of an audience besides those who were waiting for him specifically to play it.

I think with the Omega thing its more the execution that bothers me. In any profession you're supposed to develop relationships and networks that leads to oppertunities in the future. But as far as I know has he ever interacted with this guy before he went "yo dawg i heard you like vidya wanna play me?".

It just comes across as desperate and transparent as fuck.
