So I'm guessing Chris wants to money to buy new transformers? Doesn't surprise me.
Isn’t he just selling toys to go to bronycon? I’m sure he’ll keep buying toys no matter what, though.

Regardless, it seems Chris is only willing to sell stuff he doesn’t give a shit about. Other people’s shit, toys he doesn’t like anymore. Who knows what else.

Perhaps I should've said karma for Chris. He had a shit life and nows making banks

Pardon my half assed toilet posting.

Ok I misunderstood as well. I thought you meant somehow Chris getting money was a negative for us, not just a positive for him.

He supposedly sold his Amnyfest Ring.. but he was wearing it during the stream.

Not too sure what to think about that.

He's probably lying out his ass again to avoid being embarrassed, or having someone blatently call him out (which his Twitter/Facebook/patreon/YouTube fans should be doing to get him to stop fucking up, as well as to stop being such a douchebag asshole to people when they do not meet his demands of "Buy it now"). Chances are, he stupidly forgot that he "sold" said ring and decided to wear it again, or, he's full of shit.

Or he's just dragging his feet on shipping it out and hopes the sperg who spent 1k+ forgets that they bought it.

PayPal saga to ensue, I'd almost bet on it.

But he's not happy; he's a giddy idiot sure but I really don't see genuine happiness in him, nowhere near what we saw when he went to Bronycon last year. All I see is an overinflated balloon that feels entitled to everybody's money now since weens have made him feel like he deserves everybody's money whenever he spends it on farts and unicorns. It's honestly annoying if anything, and it's what made the 2016 begging saga so irritating. The constant cycle of Chris gets money and blows it then learns nothing from his mistakes got old long ago. The only difference now is he's even more up-front about how he feels entitled to everybody's money knowing there's zero repercussion to it, they'll still shovel money down his throat.

My impression is that a lot of the begging has become like a job to Chris.

He is able to increase his income substantially by selling off a lot of stuff.

As is the case with most people who receive an increased income, he has gotten used to the increased flow of money, so he is not about to say "Ok thanks everyone, I have enough now."

In order to keep selling stuff, he has to keep marketing it. He understands that it sells for inflated prices because it is CWCabilia, so he doesn't want to just pawn it or have a quiet eBay store noone knows about.

Begging has become an integral part of his marketing strategy. For whatever reason, he feels like he needs to frame his sales in the form of charity. Like everyone else he has bills and financial obligations, so he can always say, without being entirely dishonest, that he needs money for bills.

Put that all together, and you get the result that the begging saga is fairly permanent. And, IMO, the only questionable part of his logic is that it needs to be framed as charity, and not just sold as "here is some stuff for sale, you should buy it if you want it." I don't know whether it increases his sales on net or not. It might get him the occasional pity sale from someone who doesn't follow things closely, but it might also drive people away who are annoyed. It might also help to keep his sales in the news, and provide more marketing. But it definitely pisses people off, and makes them feel like they have solid ground to criticize him for pissing his money away.

Chris rarely outright lies. Like you'll understand Chris and his behavior a lot better if you think in terms of "why does Chris believe this to be the case?" rather than "he's lying". Chris is dumb as shit, so he believes a wide range of bullshit.

Like most things that involve estimating what's going on in other people's heads, Chris' sales are a black box to him. It's like cargo cult behavior.

Chris whines and wheedles about how he's got bills to pay, he puts random shit up on ebay, and voila, he gets money. Just like pacific islanders waiting for a crate of canned food and penicillin from the whiteman gods.

He doesn't know how. He doesn't know why. But it just happens.

Chris isn't going to mess with a successful venture.

I feel your pain. Several years back I stopped following Chris because I got bored.

Autism and his shitty upbringing aside (and that's a lot to put aside): people on the internet have lorded it over him and made his life a hell for the past 10 years. How do you expect him to act when he gets a leg up on them for once?

How is an idiot giving Chris money karma against us? My wallet is untouched, all of my belongings are where they should be. So where does karma come into it? @Marvin @Alec Benson Leary you guys actually trolled him, are either of you somehow out $600?

If someone gave Chris a million dollars tomorrow, it wouldn't effect me or my life in any way. Any reaction other than "meh some idot payed for another idiots lego lol" is getting way to emotionally invested.
Giving Chris a million dollars would give us the best content since he was discovered, we would see how foolishly he and Barb blow it and end up deeper in debt as well as watching the rage from fools that have not yet discovered how unfair life is.

He loves to tell partial truths. Like, if I asked Chris "did you go to the mall and get in trouble again for trespassing?" He would respond with "stresssigh I went to McDonald's today." Poor example since he did admit to trespassing but same concept that he likes to pull.

The doghouse weighs FIVE TONS because it felt heavy to me!

@Jack Z posted this video telling Chris to "save that money for bronycon or you will get no more of it". My impression was that he's only given Chris part of the money, the remainder to be delivered at some future date, and that's when Chris would actually ship him the ring.

It sounds like Jack is trying to set Chris up for a "no you've already spent the money so now I'm not sending you the rest of it" at the last minute, in the hopes that Chris can't re-list and find a buyer for it so quickly and has to miss bronycon. But I'm kind of cynical.

I'm kind of hopeful that this is the case. His videos are autistic as tuck but this would be a pretty good troll attempt if he really is fucking with Chris.

Coinstar isn't worth the time or effort. They take 12$ for every 100$ and that's the base setup for a machine; stores can actually jack up the processing fee if they want.

...Wait, getting less money back from an initial investment and calling it a win? This is right up Chris' finacial alley.

You can totally get a giftcard and not loose any money. Decent ones too especially the amazon.

Yet it would almost definitely cause the amount of people trying to scam him to skyrocket, potentially professional criminals, especially where such a large amount of money is concerned.

You must've missed the time he put up a coffee-stained, half-finished page of Sonichu, and yes, it was sold.
Honestly, I didn't think that was a terrible deal, at least compared to some of the other crap he's listed on eBay.

IIRC, he was selling 4 coffee-stained pages for $100. Twenty-five bucks a page for something Chris actually put some amount of time into is a better deal than $150 for a pile of Cole's old homework that Chris just pulled out of the hoard. Hell, if I wasn't such a slow-in-da-mind myself, I should have bought those pages and then, over time, eBayed them to weens wanting some official CWC art.

Regardless, it seems Chris is only willing to sell stuff he doesn’t give a shit about. Other people’s shit, toys he doesn’t like anymore.
Actually, I have no problem with that. While I think it's ridiculous that Chris is selling literal garbage (to say nothing of the fact that idiots are buying it), there's nothing that says he needs to sell things he *does* care about. Even though Chris's priorities are completely out of whack, if Chris thinks a given item is important, meaningful, or useful to him, he is well within his rights to keep it.
