He was at $3124.24 on Twitch as of the end of the 19th- projecting out for another 11 days that's $4933.01, if things don't change he'll get around $755.64 on Patreon on May 1st, and the YouTube views he's had for the past 30 days (not necessarily the same as a 30-day projection based on numbers from April 1st through 21st, but I'm not going to put that much effort into this) would probably net him $1400 from there.

That's still $7088.65, which I think is basically average. If you ignore December and January (this is just based on quick number grabs so it's not exact) his average is $7750.

Damn I did not know it was that high, I knew December was 10 grand and like Jan and Feb were not great but this fucker is scoffing at 7000 grand. I never hated Phil but his sense of entitlement and greed is utterly sickening. That money in contrast could sustain me easily for over half a year. Heck one of my closest friends is sick and get only $100 to live on and complains way less than this fat fuck. I can kind of understand why people dislike him so much.

Was watching Maximilian Dood's stream and with 9K viewers, somehow the chat managed to be focused ONLy on the gameplay. Funny how that works.
i'd like to add to the pile of "look how wrong phil is"

yeahs.png

and chat is talking about the game

You'd be somewhat safe if you didn't monetize them and just did reuploads/mirrors. Might have to pull a Snort Burnell and tweak the footage to avoid tags.
I'll note that I've uploaded hundreds of videos with raw DSP footage, particularly 'informal' prestreams in the YouTube streaming era where he would have a private or unlisted stream archive right on YouTube to do a match against them... and only 1 video was ever claimed by DSP or Machinima: the fapping moment got blocked worldwide manually by Machinima, didn't even get a copyright strike. Mine was hardly the only one claimed, but it's telling that that's the ONLY video DSP or Machinima ever did anything to on YouTube.
So there's certainly no need to fuck with the footage by inverting colours, flipping the image, adding effects or modifying the audio.
I don't have exactly numbers yet, but cheers were ~$30-40, and I counted two subs that showed up in chat. Any gifted ones would be missed, though.
Caught the end of tonight's stream. Bitched about how "slow" it was tonight and said it was one of his worst nights. Less than 350 viewers. AAA HYPE!

Here's some stats for his 3 GoW streams so far --around 12 hours or so? (huge thanks to @EddyB43 for help in setting up raw stream logging to catch everything):

Unique cheerers: 55
Total cheers: 187
Final bit total is: $96.06
Average cheer: $0.51

Subs: 11 (11@$4.99, 0@$9.99, 0@$24.99, 0 gifted, 8 Twitch subs (72.73%), 90.91% resubs)
Known sub money is: $27.50
Total Subs (via decapi): 459
Twitch range is: $123.56

For the month, he has $1446.00 in cheers. Can't speak on the subs as the gifted ones stopped showing up in the overrustlelogs pages. Accordingly, only the ones that were captured in chat prior to the 19th and (hopefully) all of them following will be tallied at the end of the month.
I will confirm God of War has been ridiculously slow for DSP in terms of Twitch income. The Bloodborne main stream on Friday did better in cheering, subbing & tipping than the God of War main stream on Saturday. And this is after a dropoff in Bloodborne income from Tuesday onwards.
For the late night streams, the God of War premiere did well... by late night standards. It was still worse than Tuesday's Bloodborne stream. Friday's late night God of War stream was atrocious, worse than Yakuza 6's slow premiere & even worse than the penultimate Ni no Kuni 2 stream on Monday.

So his Twitch this month has not been as lucrative as he hoped; this is almost 2 weeks running too his birthday week considering was pretty poor for viewership and tipping subs is a different beast for Phil because he is so close to circling the drain it just gives his Twitch paypacket a slight boost.

Its funny though post Jan his figures have just been awful all round and considering his living style and expenses his on average 4k if that must get depleted fast. I do actually believe him when he says soulmaid only contributes a small amount because I think she is saving up to exit personally.

As April wraps up it has not been kind to Phil at all.
Let's make this clear: January & February 2018 Twitch income is still above everything before November's back taxes reveal & pity party began, and March is a few hundred dollars below September. April is already nearing $3200 by the 20th & I wouldn't be surprised if it broke $4K again, provided these slow participation GoW & Yakuza 6 streams are reversed quickly. Here's the numbers to see for yourself.
upload_2018-4-21_15-30-10.png

Also note I'm missing the smaller tips, and a good chunk of the subs. January's $1150+ in subs money is only 415 subs (401 $4.99/Prime, 8 $9.99 & 6 $24.99) yet Nightbot & DSP claim a peak of 563/564 subs in January. It seems it was late May when Twitch added that 'share' button and meant subscribers could opt out of sharing their (re)sub so it can be tracked. Gifted subs seem to be shared automatically.

Why do I feel like Kat is enjoying the game a lot more and would have a much better quality of stream?

Phil is also mad salty about Kat having PS4Pro, he wants his paypigs to donate to him along with a 4K TV soooooooooooo badly you can hear him

View attachment 432061

I wonder how many times he's argued already with Kat about how he NEEDS that ps4 pro for his business, so she should give it to him

MOVE ALONG PEOPLE! NOTHING TO SEE HERE!
As natural as that hair...

Hey, he's completely right. Phil isn't a huge streamer or a YouTuber. The views he's getting are completely the result of his garbage attitude and lazy work ethic, naturally.

It's Takeem he's replying to who must have his head up several asses at once because everyone knows why Phil doesn't get views; Streaming is a competitive entertainment business and the best people with the appropriate audience niches win. What the hell is Phil's niche? People who love fat, greasy people? People who hate money? People who get ASMR from someone inhaling snot through their nose while butchering the English language? I've heard some of them genuinely liking his jokes, but he's not a children's entertainer, so the niche is probably just some mental wards with Internet access.

Has anyone asked DSP-fans why they don't watch other streamers instead? I have a feeling that'd be a whole new fountain of autism just waiting to be tapped, and it isn't even trolling. It's just sitting there, waiting to be unplugged.

Phil fills the niche of internet victim. From what I can tell about his dedicated fanbase, they're either 12 or operate at the same mental level as a 12 year old. Some people see supporting Phil as a means to troll people like us that his fans project their bullies onto, and they identify with his "it's my critic's fault when I fail" attitude. It's been said that if all of Phil's trolls started ignoring him, his group of followers would drop to less than half of what it is now, but I think he'd lose the majority of his paypigs, too. Without a boogeyman to blame, they can't identify with him.

Kat, I'm gonna need to "borrow" your ps pro because mine broke. Also I need you to bring it in here and hook it up because I'm scheduled to work a full 12 hour day and can't get away from the office.

What's he talking about? I haven't seen 1 person say anything negative about GoW. He'll never change. Easier to spout bullshit about people not liking it. I think I've seen people talking about how it's a massive change from previous games, but they weren't being negative about it.

Funny how every game he plays has an excuse for not doing well. Even though for how many subs he has he's doing alright in terms of viewers.

People in his chat (fans, in some cases) were saying it was unoriginal and a mish-mash of other games' innovations or something while Phil was trying to say that it had original and innovative work. That's probably what he's referring to.

Courtesy of @EddyB43 sharing his logs from earlier in the month, here's my summary of the up-to-date stats for Phil:

Unique cheerers: 292
Total cheers: 2044
Final bit total is: $1446.39
Average cheer: $0.71

Subs: 259 (253@$4.99, 4@$9.99, 2@$24.99, 55 gifted, 116 Twitch subs (44.79%), 50.58% resubs)
Known sub money is: $667.50
Total Subs (via decapi): 457
Estimated sub money is: $495.00

Twitch range is: $2113.89-2608.89

# of Patrons: 150
Patreon total: $736.03

Total money range is: $2849.92-3344.92

Of note are of course the 55 gifted subs and the fact that a slight majority of Phil's subs are resubs. Not a whole lot of "organic growth" happening there. Finally, it's interesting to see that his Patreon hasn't really gone up much, although I expect that will change by the end of the month, since Phil will almost certainly push it hard at the end to squeeze out a few more dollars.

As Eddy noted, this month will almost certainly be in line with at least January and February b/c of the gifted subs and the pity tips during the birthday week. That said, it'll be interesting to see if Phil 1) takes those days off in May, 2) is dumb enough to stay in a hotel in Seattle, and 3) whether that leads to another decrease in money. I'd predict at least a few fans would walk given how long he pled for tax bill money and the fact that his own twitlonger gives the impression that he still has to pay several thousand dollars. That's not to say that Swagginz and others wouldn't vociferously defend Phil...but I think it would, for once, make a difference.

Says the game gets better once you unlock the better combat skills. Proceeds to not use any of these combat skills and throws axes at everything.
and considering the streamer i watched just had to do a part where you had to kill enemies within a tight time limit, phil will love that part

He won't admit it's him, he won't admit he's boring to watch
I have a stronger stomach than most here when it comes to watching Phil play, but even I gave up watching him literally go round and round on both Blood borne and GOW. It wasn't just boring, it was infuriating.
does he notunderstand that these gifted subs mean absolutely nothing in terms of stability?
Phil doesn't care. A sub means money, and he thinks there will always be suckers fans willing to give away more subs when the ones he got this month expire.
its almost like patching holes in a sinkkng ship with bandaids but he has the wood and nails there to fix it.
I don't think Phil has what it takes to fix things. His chat is like a horny, perverted version of the island of misfit toys. Most of the people who chat there know they wouldn't be allowed/welcome in other streamers' chat.

I suspect that is the reason so many of them say things like "we need to bring more people in/get more subs/give him money". Folks in chat need Phil to keep on streaming so they can have their twisted little corner on Twitch.

Phil has painted himself in a corner. He could make the chat a more welcoming, less insane and depraved space, but to do that he would need to:

  • somehow make chat behave like humans. Which would mean muting, deleting and banning people who insist on being "odd". If he did that, he'd have little or no income.
  • git gud as a player and/or as an entertainer. He can do neither.
  • be welcoming to newcomers. Neither him nor his chat acknowledge people joining the chat, and the few who are brave enough to type something in chat get instantly labeled a detractor. The only people who are accepted are the ones kissing Phil's ass or showing they are as nasty as the rest of the chat.

Phil is socially awkward and terrified of change, so he'll do nothing. But as long as there are socially inept people finding him, he'll keep on streaming (badly).

The funny thing is it's not even well-used money. He would be better off if he just got the 5 dollars via a donation or patreon pledge versus only getting 2.50(?) from a gifted sub. Not to mention that now he's gonna be locked into playing a game he'll probably hate as a Patron's choice playthrough (I will die laughing if he gets forced into playing Monster Hunter World), all for the sake of being able to brag about his sub-count until it crashes again next month.

If he isn't getting subs and bits or having high viewers, he automatically assumes it is because of his fans not liking the game and not at all because of his boring and toxic personality.

Phil does this a lot. It's a weird variation of his "peepul sayin" meme where he wrongly claims the consensus is one thing so he can take the opposite position. I assume it's because it plays into his narrative where he's the edgy outsider who's too real for people. He did it with Sea of Thieves too. He made out like everyone was drooling over the game and then put up his HAHNEST review as a counterpoint, even though Sea of Thieves' reception was very average at best. Doing it with GoW is even more ridiculous though. It's sitting at a 95 on Metacritic for crying out loud. The few minor negative points I've seen, even from shitposters on the internet, haven't been anything to do with the changes. It's as universally praised as games get these days. The constraints of reality aren't something that trouble Phil much. My guess is he's just fishing for likes and setting up his narrative in time for his HAHNEST review, because for some reason Phil can't give his opinion on something without explaining what other people think and why they're wrong.
