Has massive University debt and yet has wasted a thousand dollars on Phil...

Phil should be getting down on his kness every night and thanking God that he somehow manages to attract people that are as financially irresponsible as him.

He went on a rant in prestream about how people think he needs to do DSP Tries It for the fans, saying that he already does so much for the fans.

"The King of Hate, Hate Live, The Week in Preview..."

First of all, he didn't do Hate Live for a long time, and it is basically just an extended prestream anyway. The KoH is just Phil jerking off (figuratively this time) and requires no prep outside of curating the questions. But regarding the WiP in particular, I'm not entirely clear, in this era of the 1 hour prestreams, what purpose exactly the WiP serves. Furthermore, if he considers it fan service, he frequently uses it as an excuse to not stream on Sunday nights, so he's losing far more income off that than it would cost him to do a DSP Tries It. By Phil's logic, he should drop the WiP, and use that extra stream revenue for 'fan service' his fans are actually requesting. But that would then mean he doesn't get his bonus gin time on Sunday.

We all know there are a multitude of reasons Phil won't do DSP Tries It that he is avoiding admitting to, but he could at least try to make some sense.

You'd think that if one had a '5-year legacy of slander, abuse, and harrasment, they would probably want to consider that maybe there are some people out there who haven't heard about all those things. And maybe sometimes those people stop by your stream to check out whatever you might be playing. Maybe even doing it SPECIFICALLY to not be a 'sheep' by just watching the 'big guys' but to, instead, give a little guy a shot.

Now, besides your regular fans who have already heard this a thousand times, and any detractors who are just gonna laugh because it's making you lose your shit... WHY would you want the few people left who might not know about this stuff to hear of it, via you ranting every day like a crazy person for 10 minutes in pre-stream and randomly throughout stream, which may then pique their interest and steer them TO detractor videos to see, 'Hey, what could be making this guy THIS pissed?? I gotta see what these 'detractors' are all about!!'?

As opposed to, you know, ignoring it and not letting it shit up the streaming experience of people who may not know or care about it if you weren't constantly bringing it up.

Disclaimer: I possess neither the street smarts, nor the business degree of Phillip 'Dave' Burnell, please keep in mind when considering the above.

Some things are more important than money.

Not the fans though. Never the fans.

If the start of 2018 is a sign of things to come for the rest of the year, then Phil won't be able to stay in the house long enough to make good on any more potential value increase. Besides, i'd wager that even if selling his Renton house could solve all his debt right now, he still wouldn't do it because then he'd be forced to move back to CT.

Phil did state during the 'save the house' campaign, I believe, that his plan was to try and hold the house for about two or more years so the value goes up further, and then look at selling so he can cash in that equity and pay down his debt. His assumption was the value would just continue to climb. So for anyone ruminating on how stupid a gamble that would be as a plan, don't worry, Phil is way ahead of you.

You'd also think that if one had a 5-year legacy of slander abuse and harassment they'd get the fuck off the Internet instead of digging deeper.
Anyone else notice he's saying the word "bitch" a lot more than normal? Like A LOT more??
Didn't he do that around this time last year too?

he's crying about buying a new hd. Here is a smart idea deleted the videos on the hard drives he already own.

LOL. Wahrantee? Fuck that, dood. Sounds like upward mobility to me.. I'd rather drop another bill I supposedly don't have on an egREEgious waste of gigabytes to ahrkive my unendurably boring, worthless video footage. Because, REEEasons.

Douche paddle.

He still does that, yeah? Okay then.

Guys, I'm in need of money and can't afford anything. I might lose my house, I might lose EVERYTHING.
But at least my shitty videos are saved, ack ack ack.

This is literally how you can save a legacy but ... this is not what "save" means in this context, Phil.

Imagine the plottwist. It was never about losing his house or anything. He just wanted to save the data.

Those hard drives contain his entire 10 year legacy! He can’t delete those! What if Amazon launches PrimeTube? He needs to be able to upload all 50,000+ videos so he can get that sweet, sweet Amazon ad revenue when he returns to the Promised Land of the Wild West of the Internet.
