Since I see people only remotely interested in Phil playing fighting games, I can say I sure as shit don't want to see that. Phil gets mad and spews salt, but the fact is that you can take his sobbing from any of them and swap the audio and you will get the same video. They get stale as fuck, which is actually quite impressive.

That's a four year old quote, and those hits have been rarer than hen's teeth in the last couple years.

Phil at his best, ie fighting games in terms of 'entertainment', is still repetitive as fuck and gets boring regardless since you can simply make his own audio using a soundboard of him chimping and it'd still come off as authentic. The only difference is you are actively paying attention because chat can't help his easily bruised ego in a fighting match and so you haven't forgotten you're alive while watching him stream.

I'd bet five dollars that when it's time for the viewer poll if Monster Hunter wins Phil will put it off claiming that because the subs fell back before 450 by month end it doesn't count.

D00d, this month was horrible. Can only be fixed by playing more PUBG I guess, so no Monster Hunter for you, sorry. I dunno, don't looking forward to anything. The thing with Dave van Philbertson is that he's totally predictable. The common man knows what will happen: Same bad driving, bad fighting, bad attention span, bad aiming, lots of snorting, ACK ACK ACK ACK, calling devs out, everythings bullshit and game is cheating, "Look! Look!", same juvenile "jokes", talking over cutscenes, won't learn the game. I really want to see a video where someone interchanges the audio tracks of 2 of his LPs. There won't be much difference.

There were times where I saw some actual good informative commentary from him during Street Fighter streams where he would actually chime in and say you can punish certain moves with a particular normal in certain circumstances. Those are nice, he should do that more.

Other than that, I agree. His fighting game streams are 50/50. On one hand it's fun to see him lose his shit, but you have to endure him building up that smugness with so many winning streaks against lesser players.

If you really want to get a rise out of him, just compliment the opponent in his chat. Just like LTG "That Ken was good? Get that ass banned"

That's true I suppose it has been quite some time since he's had a real memorable one. I totally agree that you could make an indistinguishable copy of a dsp fighting game video with a soundboard of quotes like lag, dropped my input, scrub, online only, etc.

God of War was a flop for him. 400 viewers on average, and he got more cheers/subs/tips etc when he was playing Bloodborne.

Its hilarious how he thinks he cant get any new fans because new users will only go to streams with 10k people. Not true at all. A lot of people dont like those huge ass streams where the chat is moving 100000mph where you type something and nobody will ever see it, like pissing into an ocean.

His problem that he fails to see is people like to interact with the streamer. New viewers might want to ask questions and see the streams personality. They go to other streams and actually get their questions responded to. So a new person will go to DSP's stream and type in a question and seeing the chat is slow moving they type the question almost knowing the streamer will see it. But then they find out he will only respond if money is given.

Also a new viewer who might happen to stop by and watch phil play a game will possibly enter when his 1.5 hour pre stream is going. They sit and wait for 20 min etc and still see no game play. the other day there was a guy who said something like "I am new to this channel, all 3 times I have came in its always been talking with no game play, why is that?" Im sure you guys can guess how quickly he was banned

Exactly. It’s not like he can tell stories about something funny that happened to him at work, or vent a little bit about an annoying coworker (things I’ll do on my own pre stream for a few minutes). He literally has nothing to share except for his own self drama from him being a fucking shut in.

Edit: he just said "Monday God will return, hopefully next week his views go back up due to most people beated the game" and they return to watch his stream.

I find it very fascinating he blamed early reviewers for getting him low views, and how people should watch him play it first.
Now he has to wait for people to play it before him.
