Twenty Seven days into #TTRPGMaker and according to the above featured tweets he's posted FUCK ALL about mechanics, what system he is using or developing, his creative process, what inspires him, common pitfalls and traps, articles by other creators, old TTRPG's that taught good and bad lessons, where TTRPG has been, where it is, and where it is going. He didn't plug any other artists, creators, works, or anything aside from some Twitter names. He didn't talk about TTRPG creation resources, open source systems and their problems/strengths, articles written by big names, blogs by smaller creators.
Nothing of substance or value to anyone.
It's like he was using the tag as nothing more than a way to bullshit with other people. He plugged some Twitter handles, but no mention of what they worked on previously or currently. He talks about his playtesting JAVA program, but doesn't show any fucking examples of it, offer the code out, or even tell what it does. I mean, does it allow him to plug in all the math for the mechanics and run through permutations of combats/games to see what mechanic unbalances everything?
He showed no creativity flow for real. He posts some kind of music thing that he wants people to click in, with no hint of what kind of music he likes to use during what creative phase. He says: "Don't be like me" for how he handles files, but doesn't give suggestions on what kind of file structure to use in regards to naming conventions and the like.
Holy fuck. I don't know why that series of posts annoyed me so much.
