why do these kinda people insist that clothing for "nonbinary femmes" should be so absolutely different from stuff evil opressors wear? just because of thisthey're ready to wear stuff that looks like rainbow vomit.

i mean... most non-cis(hets) seem to be just fine with wearing things that everyone wears, without making it into another 'phobic problem. i just really want to hear explanation on this person's reasoning.

Ah, I think this is Alok Vaid-Menon, a self proclaimed "gender nonconforming femme". He was in a movie called The Trans List, which starred some other equally odd people.

Even with terrible fashion taste, at least he's doing his own clothes instead of throwing a fit and demanding stores to line up with what he wants.
But at the same times, the self-congratulatory tone of the headline leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth.

Dress like a rodeo clown, and then get upset when people point and laugh.

Anyone who isn’t either a rodeo clown or some kind of character on a tv show for preschoolers is going to be mocked for that kind of “style”. Even the tween/teenage Japanese girls doing it look dippy.

I have mixed feelings on Creep-P. He’s done some great work on collabs but his solo songs are just. A mess.

Edgy MLP fanfiction songs with no discernable rhythm and some horrendous vocaloid tuning. His fashion kinda summarizes his whole shtick of forcing an aesthetic wayyyyy too hard and missing the mark. He’s shown capability though. Maybe he’ll mature. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

fftopic: for the thread but yeah, if that's typical of his style, not a fan. Super high-pitched and dissonant vocals, edginess and slurry pronunciation, no thanks.

Btw, I didn't know that neon body paint was part of the wacky fashions of Japan. Not a fan either. Though at least there's a cute jp girl underneath all that rubbish in this case.

To be fair those outfits were an art project he did with a friend who is a clothing designer. I’m not saying he’s not weird, but in the article he says doesn’t dress like that every day and most high fashion runway couture is equally bizarre.
