Well, considering in most work places you only get a week off (At most ) to grieve if a loved one is sick, dying or dead, that's about the right metric. Now for actually getting over their death and moving on? It depends on the relationship. In this case, it was a friend of Noah's that he almost never saw IRL, and didn't really do too much with from the looks of things. Spoony should have long since gotten over his grieving.

Apparently he thinks his lame Twitter roleplay of LOTR characters playing DnD via groupchat is actually funny and productive instead of the kind of cringey fanfic shit that most of us stopped writing after our early teens. (He spent 16 hours posting it...)

I'd say I'm shocked by his response to the CA drama, but I'm honestly not. Nothing Noah says or does anymore comes as a surprise. You always know that no matter what he says or does, it's going to be terrible, stupid and lack any form of self-awareness.

Just seek help already Noah. Seriously, it's not laughable anymore.

I think "shallow" was around two years ago when he stopped churning out content (anyone remember the Rap Rat video board game? yeah, nice job delivering that, Noah) while never stopping to pull Patreon money out of his fans. At this point attempts to be entertaining by making LotR/D&D jokes on social media is like trying to scuba dive on Mount Kilimanjaro.

Given Spoony's sedentary and incredibly unhealthy lifestyle, I'd say he's a little past his own midlife point.

Noah seems to be at the final stage of relapse, not just alluding to Trump in tweets, nor responding to Trump's tweets, but creating numerous bespoke tweets directed towards him with the expectation that he might see them. It only took him a week or two to return to this advanced state of derangement. He's also currently ranting about paper clips and their fascinating history which presumably he has been reading about on Wikipedia or Buzzfeed instead of doing, well, anything at all.

As I was making this post, I refreshed his Patreon page and it shot up from $505 to $519 after being at $540+ for the past month.

Since January I've noticed that a handful of people (5 - 6) have been stubbornly keeping his total above ~$520/mo. His patron count has barely changed since the end of December, and none of this extra support appears to be in response to anything.
