I think he's saying liberalism is pretty easy to defend. It's like defending "being nice", if everyone was nice wouldnt things be great? That's essentially every argument he's made for liberalism when you get down to it, while his opponents dont think "being nice" is an option any longer
Thats half of it but sargon started off saying we need to confront the truths society has thrust upon us such as women should be in spaces dominated by men. But after a while that arugment inevitably runs into race and sargon not only cowarded away from that discussion but attacked anyone even talking about it. Whether you're alt right or not racial politics are at a forefront around the world and to see an "intellectual" completely shut down that conversation has pissed people off.
Touche. To be fair to Sargon of E-Beg, he did apologize for the price and said the venue was charging him through the nose, but that begs in mind the question of why even have it in the first place? As expensive as New York is, there are venues there that are relatively cheap, and even if you couldn't find one, it's way more honest to just not have it in the first place.
While I do think he's a pompous ass who believes himself to be some high intellectual his reason for not confronting the alt right is almost strictly monetary. The alt right on the internet is currently being demonetized and deplatformed all over the place sargon isn't gonna risk his shekels for simple ideological consistentcy. He knows being linked to them in anyway dangers his revenue stream even if he is being antaganistic towards them
You do realize that his interactions with the alt right have in recent months caused him to lose a lot of respect among the community as well as result in him being caught in lulzworthy behavior right? At this point it's apparent his refusal to interact with the AR stems from him not wanting to further damage his reputation.

Maybe, but I think the reason he's grown to be so big is that he's got a knack for self preservation.
All of those things you mentioned are either minor foibles or have in fact contributed to his own popularity. This is in no way an attempt to white knight Sargon, but let's look at this objectively; unlike Kraut, who ran into the fray against the alt right like a Jihadi and promptly an heroed his channel, Sargon has never actually engaged in anything so ridiculous or egregious as to destroy his career. Even when he posted a picture of his fat drunken (and literally exposed) ass, Sargon didn't see anywhere near the massive drops in popularity. Besides his debates with the alt right and his recent conversations with Jim, Sargon has never done anything that would result in a mass revolt of his fanbase, and was able to successfully transition from being one of the leaders of GG to becoming King Skeptic.
If you're talking the picture I think you're talking about (the fake "kiss my ass altright" tweet?) that wasn't actually him. Face was clearly different, beard had gray patches that he doesn't have, and was too fat to be him in his current state (appears to have dropped substantially from rock climbing).
What makes this even worse is that he scheduled it from 6-10, knowing that he'll have fans from nearby places in the east coast coming in. You can't really get a bus or anything out of NY that late, and hotels in Manhattan are super expensive. He's doing it on a Sunday when most people are off of work, so why not do it earlier so that attendees don't need to shill out money to stay overnight?
I don't like accusing him of being this Machiavellian, but it's conceivable he wants to A) Be comfortable showing his family here and there, and B) Point to the ensuing photoshops as "cruelty towards his family," so that his next Dear John letter to the Alt Right has a bit more punch.
