As far as I can tell, I am the only one who was banned because of the "no nazis" rule. I haven't heard a single Raider or Altfurry member getting punished for any reason anywhere. I find it very strange considering I'm the least influential member of either group (and I didn't break any rules). Best I can figure, Dragoneer (and pretty much everyone else) knows I'm an easy target. I am only one man, I don't have a personal army of sycophants like most controversial furries, anyone can to pretty much anything they want to me and get away with it. But Foxler or Len, they will push back and push back hard.

Does it echo core beliefs held by a certain group? Sure, that's fair.

Dogpatch has far more pull than Deo could ever dream of having. While Deo is a semi-popufur who built her internet image since 2017 off "those nazis are harassing me" (and this kind of popularity dies out), Dogpatch actually has a website he calls a "furry news" site, possibly has connections, and has taken part in poorly executed spying attempts or copying info/leaks from Kiwi Farms for "big scoops". The only thing keeping his pull from being bigger is his use of and shilling for a block list, which cuts out around 900ish people so far from seeing his posts.

Deo on the other hand has faded out even from within the leftyfur Twitter sphere, especially as others start threads that spark drama.

Dogpatch ran an article from the creator of Dreamkeepers (a semi popular furry comic, mentioned in another thread as probably one of the few furry related print products doing somewhat well), who's been under hot water by leftyfurs for his views on speech and drawing that milo pic.

In typical Dogpatch fashion, he started off the article with a long 630 word editors note:

Jesus Christ, what a shitshow.

So basically the Dreamkeepers guy was just a sacrificial lamb for the masses of self-righteous furries who are very, very eager to show how good of people they are for hating a bunch of braindead idiots and also anyone who wants to let said idiots shove their foots in their mouths.

From what I've heard the sequence of events started when both Dogpatch and Dreamkeepers won the Ursa Major awards. Dogpatch retweeted a tweet from the Dreamkeepers people congratulating him, then un RT'd it (likely when someone mentioned the Milo thing). So both the people behind the Dreamkeepers comic and Bonetis (another furry comic artist also nominated for the Ursa Major awards) came up with an idea for reconciliation: Submit a story to Dogpatch, calling out his readerbase and attempting to pour water on the whole shitstorm.

The people behind Dreamkeepers are handling it much better than the political spergs are. While their view on free speech is "allow it so the nazis fuck themselves over"...
