It does seem mean to have your kid view their gender as something to be hidden and protected from the outside world and its ideas. It feels like if there's a boy being raised gender-free, the parent(s) try to push them towards the feminine.

There was a story a year or two ago in Sweden about this angry lesbian feminist that adopted a boy from eastern europe, he was 3-4 years old I think, then she adopted another 3-4 year old boy from another part of eastern europe. Turns out both boys were actually trans-girls, how 'bout that. The story, a human interest story, was about celebrating the LGBTQIA++ and not potential child abuse, but it sure read as potential child abuse.

Another thing that comes to mind is a tv-documentary by Louis Theroux about transgender kids where among other things he visits some children's gender clinic in California, what's really nuts about that one is a doctor that enthusiastically exclaims something like "sounds like he has shown gender non-conforming movements since he was 18 months old!"

That's why the concept of gender, per se, is bullshit - people have biological sex, which has shit to do with their likes, for most of the part - and dysphoria has to do with sex, not interests. Society should really stop relying on stereotypes that much.

I agree with this sentiment in its entirety. We should not be pumping small children full of dangerous drugs just because they don't conform exactly to gender stereotypes or because the parents are upset that they had a boy instead of a girl (or vice versa) and the idea of scumbag misandrist SJW's adopting small male children and basically forcing them to transition is just sickening.

Also, it is strange that parents who want to raise "non-gendered" kids tend to push them towards stereotypical feminine interests.

Let kids be kids and if Timmy wants to play with princess dolls or if Tammy wants to play with army men, that doesn't mean they are transgender. It just means they're individuals with individual tastes.

I'm a guy, and when I was a kid, I liked Sailor Moon and one of my favorite movies was Anastasia, both of which were typically considered girly. Hell, I even had a Sailor Jupiter doll as a kid (and a Tuxedo Mask doll as well) but that did not mean I was transgender or non-binary or whatever gender label these people apply to their kids.

Even back then, I still identified as male and had masculine interests as well.

Did I catch shit from other kids at school for liking Sailor Moon? Yeah, sometimes I did. But that didn't mean I secretly wanted to be a girl or that I was "oppressed".

Why? Because I'm an individual human being with individual tastes, just like everyone else.

Why can't these delusional SJW's realize that individualism is a good thing and that you shouldn't ruin your own child's social, physical, and psychological development for the sake of identity politics and virtue signalling?

Can't find it, maybe I read it in a local paper, they don't put much on the internet for some reason. Searching for "lesbian trans kids adoption" and things like that didn't result in much, but I'll see if I can remember more to narrow it down. Found an article from 2005 raving about trans kids though, whoever wrote that was ahead of their time.

He's a guy that's vehemently opposed to trans-racialism but his idea of trans-racialism is adopting a kid from a race/culture different from the adoptive parents, he compares it to the trans-atlantic slave trade. It's through interacting with people throughout life that person comes to understand what gender is, what it means to be male or female. Sometimes I forget my daughter is transgender, but it's all I talk about, and my five year old child is so obsessed with his genderquest that he carried around his birth certificate for days when we got the marker changed before he even started kindergarten. One of the lessons you are supposed to teach kids about their bodies is that private parts are not bad or wrong, just private. Telling strangers all about your kids privates for internet attention is sending mixed messages. What really squicks me out is the way the mom is clearly experiencing cognitive dissonance about girls vs penis ownership, but she has so little self awareness that she doesn't recognize it at all, instead she tells the entire world about it like she accomplished something. She isn't thinking about the kid finding this online later and having feelings about it either. Moms have to wash their naked kids and explain embarrassing things about their bodies, that doesn't strike me as too weird, it's the context of internet overshare that is worrying to me.

It does for me every day. It's like nobody really understands the point anymore.

Let's not forget that sterility is a known side effect of HRT and puberty blockers. I see it as borderline eugenics against gay people.

I've raised this point before. I'm currently at a pretty progressive university, and when I bring this point into a discussion of transgender rights people look at me like I'm fucking nuts, including professors.
