Huh, sorry I thought the CWCki was more reliable, if there is a more factual account of Chris to look at I'd love to see it.

As for Chris being mind fucked by Bob's demise, owch.... shit... I'm sorry I suggested otherwise.

I did remember from following Chris way back when at the time when he was hospitalized Chris basically showed no concern, I guess I can chalk that up to being too naive to know how serious Bob's condition was.

You just have to figure out how to read the CWCki.

It has very few, if any, actual falsehoods and lots of primary sources like emails, social media posts, and videos (which are transcribed if you want to skim them quickly).

It does editorialize in a way that is intended for amusement and is almost always anti-Chris. So if you want the facts, you have to be able to separate fact from opinion.

You also need to be aware that often the worst examples are chosen. For example, the "Chris and his ego" page is largely written to show that Chris has a massive ego. There are a bunch of quotes of him saying egotistical things. None of these are made up, but they are not randomly selected quotes, they are chosen as the most egregious cases and not everything he says is so egotistical.

What do they even cook? That kitchen doesn't look suitable for proper meal prep. He brags about making really simple dishes, so I can't imagine he's marinating chicken with a side of starch and a side of veg.
When that epik wEEn gave him a traceable gift card, it looked like what little food he bought was fast food and sandwiches.

I know he does tilapia which is like the cheapest fish you can get. I think they cook everything over the stove. No idea about sides.

I'll admit that's more credit then I was expecting to give him. I'm remembering now that he was getting some sort of Blue Apron meal subscription for a while, he must've learned a thing or two.

His Ebay Offers were all taken down off his page, only way to access them is through the links, they are still active however.

Honestly tho, he should just sell all the stuff he doesn't need to live, and keep all the stuff he does need to live.

Kinda like a Liquidation sale a store would have.

or as i like to call it "All or Nothing".

I am pleasantly surprised he didn't continue begging for Blue Apron money which he did a few months back and instead actually buying groceries outside the realm of frozen TV dinners.

He has thousands of dollars worth of toys, legos, vidya, etc. sitting right there in front of him. He could easily pay off his most immediate bills by simply putting them all up on ebay. A lot of that stuff will sell. Alas you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

I've thought that too, but is there an aftermarket for his other stuff? I really don't know. I figure the transformers have some vintage value to non-christorians, but most of his other crap is kinda newish. Like is all that pony shit worth anything? Loose Legos? His ps4 I don't think he truly owns yet, and used games are dirt cheap.

Barb and Chris aren't intelligent and doing actual research into ways to help their situation would involve effort, responsibility, and forward thinking, things the Chandlers are incapable of doing. I doubt Chris even knows what a food bank is to begin with.

Someone should get a list of foodbanks in the area and send them to Barb and Chris. I've had to live off of food banks a few times in my life, no shame in it.

They'll either make a scene at the food bank, get kicked out, and give us something to talk about, or Chris and Barb actually behave for once, start regularly seeing people who aren't each other, and maybe get some information about programs that could help them so they'll beg less. So I see that as a win-win scenario.

Chris and Barb begging less would result in less weens thinking they can "Troll Chris-Chan" by sending him 20 Dollars in a pickle jar or something.

(Of course there's a chance they'd ignore the food banks entirely because Chris can't buy legos with Food Bank food and Barb making some excuse about being too old to stand in line)

Does Barb even leave the house anymore?

An example would be the "Bob was a racist" meme. You'd think he was a Klansman or something. That was solely based on him once stating, to a troll he was probably pissed at, that he'd seen crosses burning. And one slightly tasteless old man joke about Obama painting the White House black. That's literally it. He was so racist he actually went to a Korean church.

If you have racist sentiments, you don't necessarily have to have them against all races equally. I have always suspected some of classic Chris' weird views about black people were perverted versions of stuff he picked up from Bob. When he described his views as "old-fashioned" I think Bob tended to be the source. So I think there is decent evidence that Bob was a bit old Southern white guy racist about black people, although I agree it wasn't one of his main traits, and that he seemed to like Asian people.

A lot of people aren't particularly good at saving money. Even non-idiots. People drive for miles in a non-fuel efficient vehicle and shell out for tolls and parking to save a few bucks on a purchase. I have a friend who conscientiously saves money each month while paying the minimums on her debt, which has a much higher interest rate than her savings.

My point is that we can be way too nitpicky about Chris spending. Does he spend way too much on toys? Yes. Is Blue Apron a bad idea for someone in his financial state? Yes. But if he spends $7 on the ingredients for a meal when he could have had a similar meal for $5, criticizing him seems really silly.
