.....I really wish this post wasn't reblogged on my dashboard.
....../lesbian.
Queer AFAB women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and grows tons of body hair. Why did my mutual have to make me aware of this person's existence.
Please tell me that's a man and not a woman. There's no way that's a woman.
:powerlevel:
I had to comment on this because as a person who has PCOS myself and had to deal with the body hair issue, this is fucking insulting and disheartening to me. The hair shouldn't get that bad nor that thick and yet it has.
They basically stopped caring for themselves and let it get that way. I have never in my life seen anyone let themselves go that badly to body hair growth from PCOS and sit there and call it normal. (:_(

From what I've seen, the person is in fact a woman. :X I guess they're choosing to let it get that way to look special. A woman looking mannish with facial hair in female clothing? Oh my! Breaking gender norms and all that!
I talked to a guy who has that Wolfman problem- which makes you grow an absurd amount of hair all over so you look like some dog. (Same one people in freak shows have.) This guy shaves even more than this person on Tumblr does, yet he still manages to look normal. This is all by choice. She's choosing to look this bad.

And maybe it's just me but I really haven't seen too many women who have hair on their chest or stomach. I'm not sure how that is supposed to be normal.
It happens on women with the right genes for it. Usually the hairs are faint and only get very apparent if too long or too thick. Chest and stomach hair can be seen on some Italian women, for example.

Body hair on women other than on the arm pits and pubic area should be nothing more than short, fine peach fuzz. Thick body hair is abnormal in women is commonly a symptom of PCOS, which many women have. It'll be hard to keep up with the shaving, but many women with PCOS make do.

edit: some women have naturally thick leg hair, but some women may not have any leg hair at all. That's something not really effected by hormonal imbalances. Thick, dark chest and stomach hair is still super abnormal.

There's posts of hers where trans people assumed she was trans and she kept saying she's not. That woman really did choose to look that way.

I'd probably like her a lot more if she like, juggled torches or swallowed swords or something.

Really embrace that sideshow freak aesthetic.

I’ve seen bits of this before, but I think this is the first to quote the whole queerplatonic shit

I love how they backtrack on this immediately. You're transphobic if you don't want to date a trans person despite the fact that your sexual relationship will be affected by dating a pre-transistioned trans person. Well which is it? Are you transphobic or not? I love how consent only applies to trans people and no one else.

Also to imply they aren't a man or woman?? That's completely accurate. They TRANSITIONED. That's the point. You are born with either XY or XX Chromosomes. Nothing will change that. It is not transphobic to refer to basic biology just because you don't like it. It's one thing to be a dick to a trans person. It's another to actively treat them like children because you think they aren't adult enough to understand their own feelings.
