A problem with that analogy is that they would unironically say this. Aside from that, they do tend to have a hand in stupid stunts.

Spoiler: Why did I point at them right away? Here's why.

How many times have we seen accounts made to impersonate AltFurry members? I would say that is very rare(if it has happened at all) because of their above-mentioned tendency to say inflammatory things without provocation. Nobody that opposes them needs to fake that shit.

Now how many times have we seen parody accounts of leftist furries pop up? At least one for every big name in their group has appeared. Do we know of any AltFurry members fond of using sockpuppets and alternate persona on social media? I can't think of a single one.

Either somebody with a grudge again Jason did it to try and ruin his reputation, or AltFurry did it. Why would they do it? FurAffinity just did that big AltFurry ban, and banning someone that can prove later they were banned in error would be a big win. It might also cause Jason to join their stupid club which would be another big win.

If you have reason to suspect it was a third party, please let us know. Jason being impersonated to damage his rep would still be funny no matter who did it and it would make a nice change of pace to have somebody else wear the dunce cap for once.

it was a reference to when someone else brought him up in this thread. my theory is they wanted to show how strong their influence is by taking a nobody and making them a "popufur" streamer. Honestly thats what jasons podcast is going to be about, throwing their weight around and taking nobodies and making them popular so that they can go "we MADE you" type of bullshit. right now its popufur interviews, eventually they'll start highlighting nobodies, which jason has stated on twitter that that is what he wants to do.
