Fun facts!

Despite what some people think, impeaching a President doesn't mean removing him from office. It refers specifically to the House of Representatives passing Article of Impeachment that are the equivalent of indicting someone of a crime. It just means the President is being formally charged with high crimes and misdemeanors, which aren't actually defined in the Constitution. Basically, Congress decides what's an impeachable offense. They could impeach Donald Trump because they don't like his hair if they felt so inclined.

Walking over hot coals isn't difficult in any way. The coals used for the trick actually have a very low heat capacity, and the sweat on the bottom of a person's feet make the heat even less of an issue. Walking on hot pavement in summer is more difficult than firewalking.
I knew this. Please hand in your badge over there tbh.

Disney's water rides have a unique smell because they use bromine instead of chlorine. They use bromine because it cleans the water for longer before it needs to be treated, and is less harsh on skin than chlorine. The reason pools usually use chlorine is because bromine costs more, and is harder to wash off than chlorine.

In 1920, ex-President William Howard Taft's house was broken into and his Colt 1911 was stolen out of his nightstand by the serial killer Carl Panzram, who used it in at least ten murders.
William Taft is also the only President, who after leaving office, was appointed and confirmed to the Supreme Court.

Oklahoma had the dubious honor of being the only state capital without a dome on its capital building, until the 1990s when they succumbed to peer pressure and built one to fit in with the rest of the gang.

ETA: Taft was Chief Justice, at that.

In 1945, an American soldier named Joseph Medicine Crow became the first member of his tribe in seventy years to complete all the trials needed to become a war chief while fighting in Germany: he led a successful raid against the enemy, he touched an enemy without killing him, and he stole an enemy's weapons and horses.
