OK so are you calling me a liar or are you saying Labelle did it for shits and gigs?

Nothing she does seems like it's done for the hell of it.

WE AIN'T CALLING YOU A TRUTHER.

In all seriousness, she very well might've done it for shits and gigs. I'd have to look into it a bit, but everything looks hand drawn in her comics, which is why characters seem to go off model in different panels within the same comic. She probably doesn't use a reference sheet to keep character proportions consistent, either.

Everything IS hand drawn, on a fucking $3,000 Wacom tablet no less!

I meant hand drawn as in she draws each individual panel and doesn't use pre-made assets for anything, sorry my wording was probably confusing.

That still hurts though; $3k on a fucking tablet. I'd understand if she was making huge works of art with lots of tiny details, but it's for comic strips and the occasional poster that are drawn up in a few hours. It's overkill. She shouldn't have to spend more than $500 on a good tablet.

Actually, in that news interview about Literal Nazis™ literally raping and murdering him, there is a shot of him simply dragging and dropping pre-made assets on his tablet, which is covered in Lisa Frank and My Little Pony stickers in order to illustrate what a dainty pubescent little girl Labelle is.

Oh, don't worry, she didn't spend a dime on it.

Yeah, as Citracett said, she didn't pay for it. She ran a gofundme campaign last year asking her fanbase to donate towards this tablet. Someone called her out on it, Labelle attacked them and tried to buy their silence, and they went on to expose Labellend for the asshole she is.

wait are u serious? i know she tends to copy paste but her art is way too messy, besides i figured saving assets to drag and drop later is one of the few lazy techniques thats beyond her

if its true id like to see the vid

No, I remember the video she's talking about.
The strips are clearly not actually made that way, though.

EDIT Couldn't find the video itself, but it was an interview on CTV. There's a bunch of posts talking about it starting here
Ah, so Buckley just inspired someone.

Who’s Tim Buckley?
You know that Loss.Jpg meme?

Tim Buckley's the guy that made it. It became infamous because the comic it's a part of had, up until that point, been a mediocre joke a day strip about video games, so a dramatic miscarriage storyline came right out of left field. (It didn't help that the arc itself was pretty badly written in and of itself.)

Beyond that, Buckley was known for being really lazy with his art, literally just having pages of shapes that he dragged and dropped to make each strip:

From what I've heard he's improved a lot since those days, though.

Trannies should be cheering this research. If there becomes a way to detect this defect then suddenly it’s a valid medical condition that insurance companies have to support.

However, transtrenderd like LaBill hate this because it would prove they’re faking it. His doctors already know he’s faking, it’s why he can’t get surgery.

Imagine hearing about research that would legitimize and open the doors for a community of people that have to struggle with something they potentially have no control over and immediately wanting to rage about how terrible it is because you would be excluded due to that research.

Typical fucking "progressives" pulling the brakes hard on anything that doesn't let them sit on their ass and cry on the internet. Jesus.

I feel like the Tim Buckley video might actually be what @LagoonaBlue is thinking of.

What Tim Buckley video?

Do you not remember during the "hacking" last year there was a news report released where Labelle was sitting drawing a strip on her tablet and it looked like she was dragging assets onto the page?

Considering the actual comic isn't Tim Buckley'd together, I imagine he was just too lazy to actually draw something for the camera and just made it look like he's working.

I'll take "What are 4 things no sane person has ever said, for 500" Alex. This is just more proof that your bad ego comic either dies in obscurity or lives long enough to become it's own strawman.

Look, it's hard to counter real arguments. Especially when you can just make up easy ones that you also don't even counter, just restate.

How'd you find this? This seems pretty recent and not a lot of attention has been drawn on this yet. Are there people freaking out about this somewhere?

Also what's the source that the drawing is stolen from, because I want to believe Sophie actually drew their self-insert with a visible erection in the original as well.
