Hardly use Steam outside of shit I already know about but this is good. I'll have to get back on and take a look at what was deemed too much once this is all implemented. Never understood the lack of adult content and AO games. Marketability sure but I think we're getting to the point where people who grew up with this shit are a bit more tech savvy than the last generation.

Only game review group I ever trusted was Classic Game Room. Mark actually bothered to think about who the game was meant to appeal to and talk about what that demographic might think about different features or systems of the game.

It's actually not that bad of a game. The match 3 and dating aspects are pretty addictive. The sum total of its parts adds up to a cheap looking but well-oiled little machine. Of course, beyond that there are tits and post-coital CG creampie stills.

Much as Jimmy can say Valve is "endorsing" whatever is being sold, Valve must be infiltrated by Nazis then thanks to some vague rules on "illegal or trollish games". Really though, if Valve really does hold up its part in taking down games of a "trolling" nature, they could take it down if they were informed, assuming those that do that would be doing that job. That said, looking at Sterling's video has some of these comments.

They could complain of games like AIDS simulator or some Nazi Hitler game where you could hunt Jews. Much as Steam could have that, reporting them for "trollish behavior" could remedy that. But then some could complain "it was let on the platform in the first place".

Itch.io is known for indie games, some of which are also games you would find on Steam. Quality among them vary and they once had a unity version of the PT demo of Silent Hills but that's dead now. Really though, Origin and GOG are more competitors for Steam than Itch.Io can ever be.

Kind of mixed on this issue. If this is in context of the HuniePop controversy, this is pretty good news and if you were to go way back, Hatred was sort of in this controversy too. With this, we don't need to worry about what games can be removed all because it hurts one's feelings.

Needless to say, this could open more floodgates for lazily made games or games that don't even work and this could put a pretty bad image on Steam. Sure, you can just ignore them which people have suggested to do so and you're not wrong in saying that, but it won't change people's perception of Steam. Quality control has been pushed on for Steam for years and even though there's still some good new games for Steam still worth taking a look, there's still gonna be crappily made asset-flipping games. For each one of the good new game for Steam there's gonna be 10 of these no quality control games.

For further context, the Nintendo Wii U had bad shovelware games and one of the reasons of the failures for that console was because of that and got laughed upon, I mean look at these:

Having adult games isn't going to ruin Steam anymore than Early Access and Greenlight games did. This is why I hate PC gamers and "gamers" in general. There's always a massive amount of idiots acting like the world is ending because something outside their comfort zone happens. Steam already has a ton of garbage on it so it can't get any worse. Besides people are free to ignore bad games and just buy stuff they like. Allowing adult games will bring in more money for Steam and that's always a good thing. Ironically that guy and the people bitching about how this will ruin Steam are closer to being a hate group than the people who just want a morr open market there. The people sho don't want porn won't buy it and the peoope who do will buy it from another site if Steam doesn't have it.
