Most Democrat voters genuinely believe that they're doing the right thing by voting for the party, and that the party does have the best interests of minorities at heart IMO. They're misguided, but not intentionally malicious. Bob thinks more like the leadership of the party: he knows that white people are the only racial demographic in the US that doesn't vote overwhelmingly for the Democrats, and wants to lessen their influence as much as possible in order to gain more power. Really, I think that's at the heart of his reasoning for hating his own race, whether he wants to admit it or not. He's really just a blind Democrat partisan when it comes down to it, all his blathering about being above ideology notwithstanding, and I think subconsciously realizes that the game of demographics that the party has been playing for the past 50 or so years (import mass quantities of people from third-world countries who can be counted on for their votes) is the only way that they can achieve any sort of victory, since people have been turning away from them as they start to reveal more and more how out of touch they are with the general public. It's why he spergs endlessly about borders and nations being obsolete: he sees them as obstacles standing in the way of total domination for his "team".

Just wait. Trump has been making a lot of subtle and not-so-subtle overtures to the African-American community recently, the most recent being the pardon of Alice Marie Johnson. The Democratic party is woefully dependent on the lockstep support of the black community. If Trump somehow manages to swing even 10% of that vote to him, the Dems will face an electoral collapse the likes of which we haven't seen since 1984.
I'm not saying this is going to happen, or that Trump isn't being cynical, or that blacks should support Trump. What I am saying is that if this happens, I would bet solid money that Bob looses a torrent of racist shit that'd put tears in a Klansman's eye. Time will tell.

You know, I used to hate the idea of Rabbids getting into Super Smash Bros. due to personal bias.
Then I realize that this is Bob's worst nightmare, the idea of an "irrelevant", Western third-party character that he personally hates getting into Smash. It would forever taint the sacreness of Super Smash Bros. being a Smash orgy of his childhood characters as he has to deal with the fact that even Nintendo of all things has moved on to bigger and better things. I hate the "It's inevitable" arguments, and I don't care what brand people's ideas are under, but I never understood the demographics are destiny crap especially when they idolize people from fairly conservative cultures. Sure it won't change the melanin issue, which I'd remind Bob that not all Latinos are mestizo, but wouldn't it make more sense to go after groups like the Swedes if you want a never ending stream of left-wing voters?
Not that the Swedes have the numbers to flood other nations. The point is this world view being practically non-existent outside the white Western world.

The thing about the crossover is that Bob can moan about it and say "but it's different and not Mario!" With Smash, it'll probably be the same thing but with more characters and slightly prettier graphics. We all know that lolcows hate change, especially if it doesn't apply to their vision of a superior future. If Rabbids gets in Smash, Bob will raise hell about it seeing as it taints his precious Smash. Then he has to decide if his love for superior Nintendo outweighs that of inferior, obsolete Ubisoft.

So what about China and glorious Nippon who have their own nationalism and other trade things going on? I don't see much you complaining about them holding back forward-thinking americans.
Of course, I don't object too much to free trade (depending on definitions) but if your nation is going to "cheat" at the trade part, then I see no reason for any other nation involved to keep operating like the deal is being followed. Is...Bob seriously advocating for war with North Korea? If so, it really is despicable that he is cheering for the peace talks to fail just to spite his enemies.
