💥 Trainwreck Dollieguts / Tearzah Hayes / Salem Haze / Dreamalgia / Dollieguts / Faedoll / Dollclaws and Bailey Lovell / David Caleb Balaski - Creatively bankrupt and quickly degrading artist inspires copycats everywhere to read this thread

this is a good thread so far and all the dirt we dug up on bailey is hilarious. but at everyone saying that tearzah’s art is passable outside of the glaring flaws(reptitive color schemes and poses, dumb character designs): no. her art is god awful and not remotely good. it hasn’t been remotely good in years. she uses her alleged autism as an excuse to why she’s fucking lazy when it comes to designing or drawing new things. the subversive kawaii art style can be done well but tearzah has no fucking idea how to do it without it being tacky as hell. her art isn’t “good except for these few things”. it’s bad. all of it is bad and the fact that she has dozens if not hundreds of young impressionable artists copying her shitty abuse fantasy art and ugly ocs is even worse.

it’s not a kawaii repetitive autism symptom to be a lazy artist that lacks ambition. her art fucking sucks and she doesn’t see a need to improve because she got so damn popular off of drawing the same ugly shit over and over. she’s a lazy, shitty, abuse-glorifying tumblrina whose art reflects that.

At this point I think most of her commissioners know she'll be lazy and shitty but just throw money at her because 'OMG!!! I AS A TEARAZAH PIC!!!11!" The art isn't worth the money they're putting in. The eyes are the same color as the pink shape in the background ffs.
 
tumblr bitches don't understand value and contrast. she used almost no variation between the shades of colors, it all ends up looking flat and boring. god her art is just bad.

Here's what the picture looks like with no saturation. As @Windows 98 said, it's flat and boring, and the eyes now almost seamlessly blend into the bangs. I'm actually 99% sure, based on the weird whitish pixels on the right eye, that the left was the first one drawn and then it was duplicated and distorted to look like it WASN'T copy+pasted.

This is probably one of the worst commissions I've seen from her so far. As @Sylvie Paula Paula explained, when you desaturate the image, there's barely any change. Her pastel goth uwu style just does not work with the bright pinks and yellows. There's needs to be some contrast. Maybe a darker background? It just looks really bland and rushed. I can't imagine being the person receiving this and being overjoyed by something that looks like that came from a machine. Also, the fucking eyes man. Either draw them or don't. They look like you're staring into the abyss. It's creepy, but not in a good "creepy" way. It's just unfinished overall.

Pretty much this. Believe it or not, Sai can have pretty decent customization. It's simple, but it can work for professional work. I know for a fact that artists such as Soejima used Sai and Photshop for his work and it turned out great. But getting back on Tearzah's art, the fact she tries to hide her settings is so..childish. Like, god forbid someone else see your brush settings. It means you aren't original anymore apparently. I've seen others do this too and I think it's equally ridiculous.

Because that's soooo much more important than anatomy...or colors...or anything else related to good art.
 
I just find it really funny since as mentioned before most brushes Tea uses are the default ones or they have shown the setting in the previous videos. I also do remember Tea openly showing screenshots of the settings in the past on their tumblr when asked. Back when ReinaGoth was heavily referencing/copying tea they used the same settings and posted them openly as well until nowadays where Reina also won't show the settings openly anymore. I can get behind it if it was a custom special brush(like CSP and PS ones you can BUY) that you don't want to give out but this....it's just pitiful and childish.

Just stumbled over Tea's youtube account again while watching some videos and I'm slightly chuckling how they whiteout the settings of their brushes so no one can copy them.

I don't know how she doesn't know this, but tracing over an old drawing and changing it slightly does not count as redrawing it. If she was doing a legitimate redraw, she would loosely reference the old drawing and start from scratch entirely.
 
Sorry to go off topic, But I think David is one of the ugliest beings I've ever seen. Also, he is wearing a shirt of tearzah's art... of Bailey, not shockingly.

Tearzah can't take a good picture to save her life. At least David can not make an exceptional face when taking a photo.
