Aww, that's cute. You think the facts matter when there's a cheap joke to be made.

On a more serious note, I think having women talk to him is a good idea. He's less afraid of them, on average, and he wants to identify with them.

Dude, no. Keep him far, far away from us. You know what happens, every time anyone with two X chromisomes gets near him, he's gonna make grabby hands. He's been told the same shit over and over for, what, twelve years at least? If he hasn't got the message by now, he ain't gonna.

I was assuming the women were advising him remotely, like over the internet. I agree that seeing him in person is a bad idea for them. And I sure as Hell won't volunteer.

On the other hand, the staff and attendees aren't there to teach common decency. You are expected to know how to behave. If it's anything like Anime Expo they might even have banners to remind you what is unacceptable, as well as safe space kiosks for any uncomfortable attendees to hide and let the security that their entry fee paid for to do their job. If Chris is really guilty, then it is all on him.

Yeah, in gonna just go ahead and say that this was entirely Chris's fault.

Well, maybe not entirely, there may have been people bandwagon the #metoo Twitter, but Chris was definitely in the wrong for making inappropriate gestures and not realizing what he's doing is wrong.

I don't even understand why people are mad about them sending a message through Facebook! That's actually more warning than one would expect to give. Heck, maybe they sent it during evening/night hours, where it's pretty reasonable to assume people check their phones.

The Con rules were clear that any inappropriate gestures were not tolerated. I will agree that they didn't specify to what degree, but I don't think that really matters. They weren't obligated at all to talk to Chris, yet they did, whether it was in person or not. And I see no reason not to believe the staff when they said they has talked to him.

He even admitted it himself on Twitter that he was wrong. Through he did try and scapegoat a bit, it's still his fault for not seeing the warning.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice that people are defending him. It reassures me that, while people love to ridicule him, there are still people that appreciate him and sort of cares about him. But whether it's autismo or not, sexual advancements without consent is serious, and this is something Chris needs to figure out.

It's Chris' fault, but if when they let him stay (until he bothered even more attendies) it did become their responsibilty to clearly tell Chris what not to do and the consequences if he continued his behavior anyway. If what they did after already witnessed problamatic behavior first hand was just send an easy-going email and let the complaints stack up so they could kick him out, it first of all wasn't fair to the other attendies.

If you can prevent future victims by giving him a clear, harsh warning about his behavior, then yes it is your job as staff by that point

He was insisting meeting this guy named CJ who was obviously a troll and I told him not to. He refused to talk about CJ. I told him if he did anything or asked him to do anything he didn't like to just walk away.

It's too early to tell, but if it was this guy, just know there are no rules. I will go after your entire family.
@Null vs CJ death-match cage fight, when?

It's not going well. I don't think Chris wants to hear it, which is unfortunate, because I'm not going to vouch for him to any convention managers unless I am relatively certain the message is clear. In my opinion, as of right now, him attending conventions is an extremely serious legal liability for someone who is quickly exhausting the sympathy of the courts.

We'll see if this point can be made more over time. I may ask other women he trusts to make the point as well.
I think you may be out of luck. People have corrected Chris on this before. Someone may need to tell Chris that if he keeps doing this and does it to the wrong person he could get arrested for harassment. Especially when you're a stranger to them. People you're friends with may tolerate this stuff to some extent, but complete strangers won't. With Chris not seeing an issue with his behavior it'll be hard to convince him to stop.
no charges filed?
No. I believe the police only showed up to escort Chris out.

Having the police showed was little overboard, unless chris was acting out of hand and refuse to leave after being told to there was no reason to call the police.

One of Chris's biggest enemies is his libido combined with lack of judgement and self control.
It's why Megan doesn't talk to him anymore, it's why he was tricked by so many trolls posing as women, and it's why he couldn't stop touching girls till he got kicked out of TMG.

Sounds a lot like BoBo of Opie and Anthony fame.

Between the constantly fantasizing about raping any woman that looked at him, making every woman they brought on the show uncomfortable and the instant boners he'd get in the studio when the guys would even just talk about females, he seems like a carbon copy of Chris Chan; BoBo may be just a little bit more well adjusted, though. He never got kicked out of a Mets game for sexually assaulting people, as far as I know.

What the fuck is with these retards are their hyper-sexual creeper behavior? I get that SpEds don't have the mental capacity to keep a lid on their inhibitions but it's fucking bizarre that they all seem to have high-libidos to boot. It's an unholy union made in hell.

He has long had issues with thinking the rules don't apply to him and he has major issues with consent and personal space. They were right to remove him because he will always try to push his luck with what he's allowed to do.

Then why did they invite him in the first place when it's well known he always acts like this? FUCKING ALWAYS!
