Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

I like how he throws "the pros absolutely hate you" in there as if it's some kind of huge insult. If I were a fan of comics, I'd be disappointed in myself if the current batch of comics "pros" didn't hate me. Also lol, you can tell that the amount of money EVS made is really burning him up but he knows that if he lets that slip it'll be over for him :story:

EDIT: He also seems to be delusional:

This guy writes for comiccrusaders? Well that changes everything!!

* What's comiccrusaders?
Josh Epstein’s (somehow worse) version of Bleeding Cool. It’s a comic news site that recycles articles by other news sites but through their filter. They’re also infamous for having Melissa Morgue wrote a couple articles for them on ComicsGate. And even though it was revealed Melissa was a fake person made up by a D&C stalker, they still haven’t taken down nor put up a disclaimer on the articles Melissa wrote.

CORRECTION: I mistook ‘ComicCrusaders’ as ‘CapelessCrusaders’.

EDIT:
He works for Josh Epstein in his Comic Crusaders website, the one that still has Melissa Morgue’s articles up.

He's a non-entity in a niche hobby. One that we can verifiably watch shrink on a monthly basis as sales figures come out and sales outlets shutter. Assuming his intra-hobby reach even is growing (doubtful, but I guess possible) all he's doing is getting those Titanic deck chairs set just the way he wants them.

CORRECTION: that isn’t Josh Shitein’s site. They had similar names:
Josh’s Capeless Crusaders:
http://capelesscrusader.org/
Comics Crusaders:
http://www.comiccrusaders.com/

I don’t know Comic Crusaders at all.

EDIT:
Full screenshot.
:story: “Looks like I got fired, now my podcast is coming back full time.” Considering his gingantic fan base I’m sure he’s gonna be ok.

Apparently artist Jon Malin put out a rather professional response to Joe Quinones dictating rules to fans and customers. D&C covers it today

Wow! Actual business sense! Imagine that!

There's one in my neck of the woods that has survived for 10+ years despite the owner having less business sense than an eight year old running a lemonade stand.

His store's continued existence is attributed to a core of solid supporters/customers, being both a gaming AND a comic store, and (to his credit) he doesn't discriminate; to quote the meme from Skyrim, khajit has wares if you have coin.

But yeah, comic stores are generally niche, and most (wisely) branch out to increase their cash flow.
I know one near me that's been around for over 20 years that does that too, some shops know how to keep themselves afloat with more than just comics.
