Interests 6/22 - Chris at Too Many Games convention - Day 2 - Chris has a meltdown, kicked out of con for boundary issues, kissing attendees

Who's to blame for Chris being kicked out?

  • Christine

  • The Convention itself

  • CJ

  • CLYDE CASH

  • The Captain for sending him there in the first place

I'd also love to see a disguise. Maybe even a cosplay :optimistic:

I was simultaneously disappointed and proud of Chris when he didn't try to sneak back into TMG on day 3. It would have been hilarious, but it's nice to see Chris not violate a ban (for once)

As he actually stayed away, I can only assume a ban evasion either somehow didn't occur to him, or he was distracted by something shiny. Maybe both. But I doubt he kept his distance out of respect for anyone or anything.

God damn I would just be happy with the simplicity of those novelty Weezer glasses with the gigantic nose & moustache, lolol.

The thought of Chris trying to enter a con incognito is completely cracking me up.

"No, officer, you've got it wrong. I am NOT Christine Weston Chandler; I am Stephanie Bustcakes!"
I think of Chris as the kind of guy who would be genuinelly fooled by Clark Kent's disguise. His idea of a "clever disguise" would surely be hilarious :stupid:

That comment reminded me of this:

Have we ever seen Chris and Linkara in the same room? They both were at the convention, but did you ever see them together?

.

I agree that he isn't likely to be motivated by some sense of "respect". But I think he would choose not to go out of fear. Based on the videos, his reaction to being kicked out was more sadness than anger. Also, he is in the midst of criminal proceedings based on violating bans, and we know he is scared of things like jail.

So I can't see him saying to himself "Fair enough, I probably crossed a line. This is on me". But I can see him saying "Bad things may happen if I go back. I better not".

It's not as morally upstanding a reason to follow a rule. But it is a common one, not just for Chris.

One thing that's surprised me is how well he bounced back from getting kicked out. I know he was a bit beat up by it judging by Nulls talk but he was back tweeting like usual in no time. I don't know if that means it's gone in one ear and out another bit I was sure after seeing him his hedgehog defense state he'd be crashing into slumber.

He always does that though. The only thing that put him out of commission for awhile was Bob dying.

It reminded me of the post-Quinn breakup where he went to the ice cream shop and tweeted photos of himself overeating ice cream on the night of the MLP movie premiere.
