Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

It won't get explained. Nothing will. Rian Johnson even said that there were no plans after TFA (courtesy of JJ's mystery box shit), which is why he was given so much creative freedom by Kennedy. There is no plan to explain anything. Even the TLJ tie-in comic that was supposed to explain the events that happened between TFA and TLJ pretty much just sweeps any explanations under the rug with "that shit don't matter".

This is the canon explanation? Jesus Christ, this is why you don't open the Mystery Box, kiddos- because once people see there's just a piece of elderly dog shit in there, they lose interest PDQ.
"Does it matter?" Yes, it matters that the people you are at war with have a seemingly bottomless well of materiel and manpower. It has long-term strategic implications.

So Lucas script for the ST were revealed, if they are true then he learned absolutely nothing! Midi-Chlorians would be back, the story would happen in their micro world and trues out the true masters of the forces were creatures that pretty much rule over the Midi-Chlorians.
So yeah if true Star Wars was doomed whether he sold or not
Link plox?

It occurs to me that with the failure of the Han/Leia marriage, the only canonical long term successful relationship in the series is between Chewbacca and the brute alien gladiator on Triskelion.
I think you mean Mala

I swear if they broke Han and Leia down just to prop up their Twilight in space milquetoast Reylo bullshit...

Wasn't there some quote that part of the reason they got rid of the EU was the death of marketable characters like Chewbacca? If so, it's funny how he's one of the few who survives and there's material that brings Lumpy into canon even without the Holiday Special.

Lumpawaroo is the key to all of this.

Rey is a shaved Lumpy.

Think about it...

Sort of like how Klaus von Bulow gave up on Sunny.
What would seem more likely:
  • Disney firing Kennedy and restarting their era of SW from scratch?
  • Disney firing Kennedy and stops making SW movies and media and instead focusses on the theme parks?
  • Disney firing Kennedy and spinning Lucasfilm off from the company? (Note: I know I asked this a billion times on this thread and it seems like a dangerous option financially since real estate in the theme parks are involved now but I just would like to see a realistic response to this option).
Kennedy for sure I think will get the boot from Disney.
