This just makes me sad. Sure, it's not unheard of that there's people out there fleecing disabled people, but at least in the cases I've heard the situation has gotten remedied - one way or another. That's just how some people are. Anna is selfish leech, and Rocky is exasperated and careless, and I doubt either are experienced enough to properly help Chris. Barb herself is greedy and blatantly just using her son and cares nothing about his future when she's gone. These obviously aren't good traits, these aren't even necessarily common traits, but these sort of behavioral traits aren't entirely rare, either. People are always more eager to say they at least tried and have thus some sort of authority rather than saying they failed because of their own unchanging ineptitude. It's just too bad for Chris that he lacks the capacity to see these people for who they really are.
