Why is Bob so distracted by the X-Men in Avengers and not the problems this Disney-Fox merger (which I personally think won’t go well for both companies) might bring?

My main concern with the Disney-Fox merger is that they will have 40% control of the box office. The other 60% is split between various different companies. There's gonna be a point where the feds step in to prevent a monopoly.
It would be much easier to write down what Bob DOES know, but that's just a blank sheet of paper. In other words, holy shit, just look at the state of Nevada. That state is basically federal land and pockets of everything else.

Frankly, no one east of the Mississippi has a clue about how tense the situation between private landowners and the Feds is. It's a situation unique to that part of the country, and anytime someone like Bob bloviates about it they only reveal their ignorance.

Its okay. Whenever you get this way, remember the image of him in Cancun surrounded by loved ones and family, and him sitting alone hunched over his phone while his brother, and likely his only friend, mingles and seems to be having a genuinly good time.
Also, remember another thing. Type II Diabetes causes severe cases of erectile disfuntion, and his anger seems to have started growing rapidly around the same time he was diagnosed. So its likely that the cause of all of his bile and rage is LITERAL Impotent Rage.

Unfortunately the feds won’t stop this merger. I seriously think Fox will be much weaker under Disney than they are right now under the Murdochs. In fact (I know it’s wishful thinking), I see Disney owning it for like maybe three or four years and selling it to someone else.
As far as the X-Men goes, which is what Bob and his ilk are only interested in is the X-Men being in the MCU, which will be a way to have the MCU be relevant after Avengers 4. The only question I have for this is if Bob will gush all over the X-Men reboot in the MCU more than Black Panther, his new favorite film in the MCU.
