Donkey Kong 64 is quite possibly the least offensive/scary platformer I have ever played. There's no Unagi the eel or anything like that, it's a pretty safe ride. I seriously can't believe anybody over the age of like 6 would be terrified of anything in that game.

Berserk is legitimately disturbing at times. It's probably one of the only pages on Nightmare Fuel that actually deserve the page. My Little Pony? Fuck no.

I think Nightmare Fuel primarily exists just so tropers can prop up the children's entertainment they consume and say, "Look! Look! This part is creepy! This isn't just for kids!" Why else would a good chunk of the pages emphasize that what they're talking about is a children's movie/TV show/video game? And frankly I think it's even more pathetic to try and justify it like that.

Fuck yes. For months every single YMMV site out there had a fucking Trump reference. Either Star Wars, Muppets, Arrested Development, Pokemon...It was fucking nuts, paranoia, and just seeing things that aren't there.
