I think the view boost is temporary from the KOgaming subs being like "Oh this dead channels doing lets plays now? Lets check it out" This move could be a good thing or a bad thing now, good thing is that his tanked search ranking issue is over, bad thing is that he'll have lost a ton of subs who won't move over, and he'll lose the KOgaming subs for those who are like "What the hell is this shit?"

He says he's going to play the sponsored game for 2 hours. But according to the Twitch Bounty FAQ: "You will only be paid for the requirements described in the bounty. During the closed beta, this will be limited to streaming a certain game for 1 hour."

I really hope he forces himself to abide by sponsorship stipulations he's mistakenly made up for himself.

What what are you serious he's playing World of Tanks now? Oh the deliciousness we'll see when his team streamsnipes him God it'll be glorious. That'll probably be his go-to excuse for being shit is that he's being streamsniped.

Dave playing World of Tanks is a dream that came true to me, since I know that game very well.

Powerlevel ahead.

WoT is not the easiest game to learn and to play and even harder to master. It is much about knowing yourself, your vehicle (its gun, movement, armor) and the maps. On the PC version you have friendly fire and team killers, and I can only imagine Phil rage quitting that game or not touching World of Tanks outside of a sponsored stream with a ten foot pole.

He would start with tanks from low tiers and it takes forever for a new player to get to better ones, and even then there are so many mechanics Dave would certainly ignore. Side-Scraping for example (moving your tank towards enemy fire at a certain angle to force shells to bounce) or using equipment, consumables, trained crews or enhancing your tank. Unless he gets a higher-tier tank from Wargaming or Twitch, which will double the salt because from a certain tier the opponents punish every little mistake. In-game chat will be glorious.

For those not knowing about WoT: in the low-tiers you have to play pre-WW2 tanks or early tank models, for example the first tanks used in the war are at tier 3 or 4 (M3 Lee for example, Matilda, various German Panzer I, II or IIIs). Famous war tanks like the T-34, the Tiger or the Sherman are even highter tiers, and tier X has basically tanks from the 70s (no Abrams for example). Not that Dave cares since outside of CoD WW2 he has barely seen tanks in video games that also appear in World of Tanks.

It would be interesting if he comes up with how many war movies he has seen, like "Fury" (whose main tank from that movie is in the game), and his understanding of tanks in history. Which can only be zero.

Rage-inducing moments can be:
- Dave getting his tank stuck or falling on the side with nobody to put him back on the tracks (console version has a 10 second automatic reset but not PC)
- friendly-fire, which happens a lot
- him shooting too many team members because of bad aiming, which could make him "turn blue" (your own team can kill you for retaliation without punishment)
- Dave getting killed by artillery fire out of nowhere
- Dave playing artillery which boring as fuck
- Dave drowning himself or killing himself
- Dave having his shots bounced by the enemy

What I'm going to guess is going to happen will be like when he tried WoW and everyone just trolled him, players will do count ins when he presses battle unless he's smart enough to do a blackout until the game loads. Also what version are we talking he's he playing PC or on PS4 cause I know PS4 doesn't have the friendly fire and he'll bitch about how wonky the controls are in particular the aiming but yeah no fucking way do I see him lasting more than maybe two weeks trying to play this game the community is vile, toxic and competitive as fuck and at this point in the games history it'll give any newcomers a hard time with all the sealclubbing.

I'm not sure if the artist was Derich or not. The saying is an old Japanese proverb, but it's also the name of a recent and famous book about autism. It's not a weeb thing as far as I know.

I experimented with falling down 7 times. I was only ever able to manage to get up 7 times. To get up an 8th time it would require me to fall 8 times which goes against the phrase in his title card.

Now if I start on the ground and get up, I’ll be one up on getting up. So from there I could essentially fall down 7 times and have gotten up 8. But why would I start on the ground? What exactly are the circumstances that would put me on the ground to where I didn’t fall? If I laid down purposely to artificially inflate my Get Up count, that would be dishonest and just autistic.

Hmmmmm we can give this til Friday if he had no ads on DSPgaming; he ain't gonna get that ban lifted as previous users and research dictates Google never retract what his ban was for as in manipulation of clicks because it means they have to monitor it manually aka use staff time and that is why they never retract it due to that trust being broken.

It will be very telling how this affects him because it will heavily. he has lost up to 40k in yearly revenue and is making 6 - 8k on twitch a month. His mortgages are at least 3k a month minimum and due to credit cards he is paying a lot of them back so he is basically on 2k a month effectively making his income 24k a year. Now apply his tax into the equation and for this year he is looking at 10-15k altogether including state taxes. From what it seems he is paying state every 3 months so next round is September. We have atm a vulnerable pig roach

colour me interested. @LyteSydeByll interesting because Panda was doing the same thing in March, April 2017 and I personally think she has been saving up for an escape plan aka move out and run from Dave.

I mean sort of really: college degrees are not as prevalent as you think; it is however the second point that is causing the glut of individuals with degrees and not working jobs commiserate with their education. Workforce development/career planning is really poor at the undergraduate level, pushing people into majors/degrees that aren't particularly useful on their own (this idea that a college degree in and of itself is worthless is just silly). I got a STEM degree and then went to get a graduate STEM degree and haven't had any issues in the workforce. No offense to anyone doing plumbing work, but I'd rather sit in an air conditioned office than try to figure out why someones water pressure is all janky.

In Phil's case, it seems he got a bidness degree, and then was set up with a job and didn't really plan beyond that.

Fair point but STEM is much more focused and sought after than a rando with a business/basket weaving degree. Mostly I agree with your point about being focused and having a plan for the degree you're going for. The people I was talking about were the "thirsty Thursday" I go to school I get a great job crowd. Not really putting in the effort or having a plan. That being said there will for sure be a much higher demand in the coming years for skilled laborers. Just something to think about for all those out there at that age.

Yeah, the degree you go for is critical.

You can get a degree in theatrical makeup. There's a lot of serious art and skill involved in the field, and my understanding is that every year they put out more graduates than there are jobs in the field. The college gets your tuition, you get a retail job and student debt. It's a fucking scandal.
