Phil absolutely hates games that have a slow pace and no real direction for where to go or what to do. He has no sense of creativity or exploration, which is basically a requirement for playing No Man's Sky; he just wants to be told what to do so he can follow the marker and win the prize. Even better if the game continues on despite his failures (no wonder David Cage games are his favorite). Chat is telling him about the new features in the game and giving him suggestions on what to do to make the game interesting, doesn't want to do any of it because it requires a little bit of work. It's much like his life: short-term thinking, instant gratification, everything is black and white, needs to have his hand held and still fucks everything up. How can any potential new fan possibly stick around after this embarrassing display of incompetence and whining? From a fucking 36 year old man, no less. There is absolutely nothing stopping him from quitting No Man's Sky and moving on to another game, the problem is that he feels the need to stick to his stupid schedule and there's almost never a Plan B in a situation like this. Nothing he can do to improve his stream, though, he's doing nothing wrong. That's why he's so popular and beloved, dood.

Yeah its why he hates games with resource gathering or crafting. Its like what the post above says he'll sit and watch, he thinks you can only do things one at a time. Like when a storm came, he sat in his ship doing nothing the whole storm instead of staying in his sheltered house and continuing crafting. I dunno if he's deliberately trying to make the game boring by doing it at a slow pace or if he's just that dense. Apparently from a cheer the portion of the game he's on is 45 minutes long and he's been at it 2 hours and a half. It could be both since he obviously has an agenda to be contrary to the mainstream opinion right now no matter what so he can release some big No Mans Sky video where he puts it on blast and gets big views, but at the same time he's always like this during crafting portions of games, even Fallout 4s. Anything with resource gathering and crafting is a no no for him. I think its because it takes time and patience which he doesn't have, also because his commentary is 100% reactionary. Even his bitch here "interaction" is reactionary, he's never starting a conversation he's just reacting to what a bitch here says. So when there's this dead time where he's just grinding for resources, he doesn't know how to fill the dead air.

He needs games that give him an Objective A, B, C, D, so on and he just quickly goes from objective to objective, reacts to whats going on, completes the objective and moves on until the game is finished. Nothing that takes time, nothing with freedom of choice, no wandering or exploring. He doesn't connect with games, doesn't seem to particularly like them, so anything to do with creativity or doing your own thing in a game goes right over his head as he's not here for immersion, he doesn't get immersed, he feels pleased through achieving objectives, he's here to beat the game and move on to the next one. So he needs objectives as objectives lead him to beating the game.

Yeah, I went into DSP's stream couple months back and WardogLeader was one of the guys who whispered me some really a-loggy shit just only after I said "Hi" in the chat. Seemed to me like he was on some kind of anti-DSP agenda. I wonder if he did something similar to all of Dave's viewers. Can sure imagine that.

I agree with what you’re saying here, but can we please not take cues from valedictorian Phillip and use the word “reactionary” when what you mean is “reactive”? “Reactionary” means against social change or reform, as in, “That guy who pretended to be a Nazi in his playthrough is a reactionary douchebag.” I don’t mean to be pedantic but we should try to avoid misusing words in the same ways that greaseball does. What’s ironic is Phil’s bullshit is actually both reactionary and reactive, so he’s basically admitting his content is small-minded racist horseshit every time he tries to make himself sound smarter than he is.

7 10 11 more gifted subs today, in what I have to think is an attempt to artificially push to 450 total (at 442 444 445 now). That makes 56 59 60 gifted subs this month. I'll have to double-check, but I'm pretty sure the only other month with more was January or February (when the total subs were near 600). So again, the actual subcount is something like 400-420 (since some of the gifted subs are to actual fans).

Edit: Well, there were 24 new subs today. I'll be going through and checking for any suspicious ones, but it looks like Phil's retard chat wants to see him fake-react to pre-approved old videos. I literally do not understand why, since anything remotely interesting will be vetoed.

So I was on Dragonkiller's twitter and he said about his parents paying for him to fly to CT and see them and go to the Zoo. I feel bad for them because they are going to witness their son has been encapsulated by autism and is pretty much special needs but at least horse is going to the zoo to meet her relatives possibly trigger some animals with the Demon lurking after her. PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 6 YO!!

So colour me curious do you think he is going to sort out the Condo too as rainstorms come down on CT which is going to fuck that place up. He is going to try and blog or something or do an IRL stream because he has no income now KOGaming makes him fuck all and with no sign of adsense in sight he is kinda in a rut.

Today Phil learned that No Man's Sky wasn't made new from scratch. It's still the same core gameplay. What does he expect?! A complete new game?
And apparently they add "nothing new of value". Except the better graphics, the better terrain generation, better planets, way better performance, a massive ton of minor but great details and better controls, complete crafting mechanism overhaul, 3rd person with avatar editor which he never used, base building, several storylines and much more. NMS is finally on a level where you need to actively hate crafting- and survival-games to still completely trash it. So basically like Phil, but I'm so 200% sure he went on this game with the intention of calling it still bad, because it's cool to hate NMS, way too obvious. And he hates every game he ever played except for a broken Street Fighter game, so this comes as an addition. He should just stop playing games, he's unable to enjoy them.
He also complaints he played for nearly 4 hours and is still in the tutorial. Yes you are. The tutorial never really ends until you unlock each major mechanism because there will always be something new, this is an experience for many hours. He expects a specific formula which NMS doesn't use because it wouldn't fit the style, but somehow it's still NMS' fault, like usual. He can't comprehend how the slow approach in each mechanic, so even the most stupid pigroach can understand it, is already part of the game.

Hey, I'm not fine with what No Man's Sky did during release. But at least you have to give some slack for the major improvements over these years, for actually creating a playable and finally thought out game. I also hated this game for a long time but now it's a neat time waster. And this sudden update which basically changed half the game, quite amazing.

Nothing new to the game, fuckin prick.

I saw that too and had to hear Phil say it himself. He didn't say "I'm going to have my parents pay to fly me and Kat back to CT so I can take her to the zoo." He just said maybe in the next year or two he would want to go back, see his parents since they are getting older, take Kat to the zoo, but he doesn't have money so he and his parents are trying to figure it out.

You could read between the lines and get that if you wanted, but the real quote wasn't anywhere as heartless as "I want those old coots to fly me back to CT so I can take my new bitch to the zoo."

I cant find the post from yesterday.....so whats the deal about being able to call the school he went to to see if he was really first in his class? I remember someone saying that the school cant give the info for a few weeks or some shit?

The person doesn't work for the school, they plan reunions and print the alumni newsletter. I emailed them and got a rather quick response telling me that once the school is open they can get the class information and let me know who the valedictorians were.

So, as he continues to go back on his words and do the things he chided other streamers for doing, surely, he thinks his own viewers are idiots. Now that I think about it, I wonder if DSP respects anybody else that isn't him?

He knows he isn't smart. That's the only degree of self awareness he has. He feels challenged & intimidated by everyone & that's why he can't let an hour go by without finding some way to assert intellectual dominance over something. It's why he can't engage in civil discussion with an opposing viewpoint without pissing himself & yanking out a perjorative like "moron" or "idiot". It's why he lies about his academic successes & invents stories about the aptitude he had to achieve further greatness, & the villains that thwarted him from those endeavors. He has a justified insecurity about his mental limitations & it bleeds out in everything he does. He can't see this because he's.. well.. not very bright.

He is aware, though, that his core audience is comprised of people over which he does lord a couple of IQ points. He leans into that to feel empowered bc he knows he can exploit it to keep his lights on & offer 8 conflicting explanations for the shit he does. But he reminds me of that old meme:

As to respect.. I don't think he has that capability. I think the closest thing to that is how ultrabeta he is. Call it fear if you want to put a name on it. He's a bottom, & he knows it.
