If she is genuinely autistic, sometimes autistic people aren't able to describe their experiences with an abuser in a meaningful way, like hyperfocusing on one detail/story and not painting the full pictureI hate that despite reading everything here, part of me is badly trying to give Stephanie the benefit of the doubt by thinking “maybe her dad has said things we don’t know about” or “sometimes people won’t leave their abusers for a number of reasons”.
I'm really starting to doubt she's autistic though. Maybe a condition that can be mistaken for autism? Before it was brought up that she has "autistic symptoms" but was not diagnosed with autism, and has had delusions from a young age, is still excessively paranoid about her family, thinks people want to murder spoonies (as evidenced in her retweets)... I'm aware that at least in children Autism and Schizophrenia/Schizoaffective can be confused with each other, maybe she's a genuine schizo, god knows.
