That tshirt is terrible and almost certainly runs afoul of branding issues if someone wanted to point YT and Twitch in his direction.

. . . it's like how difficult would it have been to make an actually interesting "anniversary" shirt?
How does it's run afoul, exactly?

"I'm tired of seeing hordes of people slagging off and backstabbing a guy who can't argue or talk back"

You dense motherfucker, Dave does not want to argue or talk back. He only blocks people , runs away, and talks shit behind their back when they can't response (Ex. Recent B04 playthrough). Second, the fuck are we "backstabbing", when in reality in has been dave who has been backstabbing people for 10 years straight. Even to his own only friends during the Project 7 saga. This guy either a ill informed or just delusional if he think Dave is a "poor innocent victim".

A shirt that says "Hate" will look really bad to a normie LOL. White supremacist gear. Wait, are you allowed to sell a shirt that says youtube on it? That is copyrighted

Yes, but if you backstab you are not better than Phil! Even so backstabbing means something very different but it sounds very fancy. In order to backstab someone you have to be a friend/fan in the first place and suddenly switch sides or be some kind of spy. I guess he's not aware people did exactly what he proposes: Tweet him, get blocked. Message him in the chat, get banned and ridiculed. Give him criticizm when he asks for criticizm, get ignored, laughed at and probably also banned. He's also not aware that most people don't want to change good ol' Phil (this is literally impossible) but to warn people to not fall for his actions, you don't need to alarm Phil in the process.
Unless it's suddenly completely okay to take a blind eye for morally bankrupt actions which scratch on the door of criminal activities. When are you allowed to point out literal bullshit, Fates? If you're DarkSydePhil who "backstabs" everyone who encounters him? Phil won't message the developers directly and tell them their game sucks, why is he allowed to do that, Fates? Oh darn, free speach, oh my, where did that come from, oh no.

The bigger question is: Who would wear that?
And yes, apparently it's difficult when the best idea is to throw some words onto a shirt and taking some risks in copyright by using "Youtube" and "Twitch" (right behind the word "hate"). He doesn't even need to write "10 year legacy" or some shit on the shirt, just let the unpaid people design something new which is only available for a limited time. This is "anniversary" enough. Or redesign some old merch to celebrate the massive change Phil made through (he didn't, but that's not my point).

A shirt that says "Hate" will look really bad to a normie LOL. White supremacist gear.
Best merch is neutral merch. Something you can wear in public which doesn't let you look like a very strange person, unless you want to look like that (I like neutral gaming shirts which doesn't shout: HEY THIS SHIRT IS FROM THIS SPECIFIC GAME. YOU KNOW THAT BECAUSE ITS WRITTEN IN BIG LETTERS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU). Imo, best is when people who know the reference can smile about it and the rest of the public folks doesn't recognize there is a reference and just think it has a nice design. And it shouldn't look like it's designed for little kids, unless a little kid wears it.
Writing Hate, DarkSydePhil, Youtube, Twitch, DSP, King, doesn't really do it for me. It's a cringe-shirt.

Not really, no. Same shit as before. Ryu is still bad. Characters like Bison and Guile still have jab anti-air. There's still throw loops. The game still rewards YOLO play styles. It's still a bad game that underperformed with only two million units sold.

The only reason why it's still doing well at tournaments is because of all the E-sports cash being injected into it.
How is ryu still being bad a complaint? He was really good at launch and low mid tier now. I dont see how ryu being competitively viable has anything to do with a games merits

Jab anti airs are annoying

Only a few characters have throw loops, and in certain specific setups or corner now, just taking the throw to reset to neutral is a very known thing.

It’s still relatively is more rewarding for yolo styles, but they’ve nerfed them a bit in reducing crush counter and V trigger damage.

Daves complaints about the game were the same trash he spouts about every new fighter, the dude couldn’t even make it out of silver and he wanted to talk about the game like he had a clue. He also acts like he had some line crusade towards the game when almost everyone was and still is vocal as hell about its shortcomings

The only bad thing i've heard about SFV is that the pros are no longer able to dominate casuals as easy. Someone brought up in phils stream that Daigo got bodied by a casual and it was brought up like its a bad thing.

I'm not sure about Twitch's usage policy, but the YouTube inclusion absolutely breaks Googles copyright and trademark guidelines (even if he had used the word correctly).

No. How a former valedictorian with a business degree doesn't know this is beyond me.

That’s just a common myth people use to make the game seem more random or like anyone can beat a good player, the same players have been consistent in the games life, and diago just won a big event last month.

Looks like @SecretLifeOfDSP on twitter is pushing hard to get Twitch noticing Phil breaking their TOS. It's gathering decent support already but time will tell if it picks up momentum.

Look, Secretlife always does quality work and this video is no exception, but what the fuck? Trying to deplatform anyone, even Phil, is going too far in my opinion. Where is the funny in this? What would be funny about Phil getting thrown off Twitch and making a video and being able to say the detractors fucked him over and be 100% correct? Phil fucking up and getting himself thrown off Twitch, now that could lead to some humor.

Maybe this post belongs in the whining shit street section, and I know people will say it is Phil's words fucking him over people are just drawing attention to what he said, but I don't know. Something just doesn't sit right with me about this.

It is more of a Twitch issue imo.
People like Tevin get permabanned and/or @BhilPurnell's emote of the DSP muppet gets deleted (so basically they get punished for small shit) while Phil gets away with all kind of violations.

Dave is not getting kicked off of twitch, if you think he is then you aren’t seeing how much they protect him, and partners in general. He would have to fap on stream again or something of similar ridiculous levels and cause a big commotion for them to actually do something at this point.
