OK, there's a lot here. First, the
@DaveSydeBennet post was definitely A-Logging. It was a
@SoapQueen1 post he was referring to, so that should be where any debate comes from.

However, it's later backed up with, "And most lads prefer younger bints", and with "Most of the time it is because most bints age like bloody tard cum", weak generalizations and personal opinions that confuse the initial point. "Girls/Women usually prefer older guys for various reasons." This "usually" is another weak generalization. So "most" men prefer younger women and women "usually prefer" older men? What a happy coincidence.
"Also, Leanne never looked her age. She always looked much, MUCH older." This is personal opinion. The complaints towards Leanna I heard were often about her annoying voice, which in my opinion is what made her sound much older, like a nagging middle-aged housewife. If she kept her mouth shut, I'm confident most would agree she looked her age. "In public they wouldn't even get strange looks because they looked the same agewise." The point isn't that they looked odd as a couple. It's that Phil was preying on a young girl who was too naive to realize that's what he was doing and/or using her youth to satisfy himself sexually. "Same with my GF; I just turned 30 but look like I'm in my early 20s while my GF is 19..." This shows a personal attachment to your defense of Phil, putting your arguments into question.
You say that since Leanne "looked MUCH older", Phil and her would have no problem being out together as a couple. But then you go on to say, "People tend to look older on film/photo because you're seeing a 2D image on a smallish screen which kinda distorts the proportions. People always look different in person." We've seen only Leanna on video. Since "people always look different in person", wouldn't the appearance of her age then be her actual age, making them "get strange looks"?
"In most western countries the age of consent is when you become a teenager which is 14-16* (*18 for people of trust relationships like teacher-student etc.)" It makes no difference what happens outside the focus of debate. What happens in the social life of Norway has no influence on what happens in the social life of Japan. We've been taught that an intimate relationship with someone much younger is icky. That is the social environment Phil, Leanna, their parents, and us have been raised in and that's how this value judgement has been made.
"So who cares", obviously the people that brought it up in the thread, "it's not even really frowned upon in this day and age anymore", those people who brought it up, representing the social mileu that frowns upon such a thing, would disagree, "and it's not like they were about to marry", would them being married make it worse somehow?
