They are nearly a few steps away from the "You cant talk with the monsters" line from the one original Doom review. It just a weird and out of touch thing to say.

Basically this.

Doom 2016 was basically mocking the hell out of itself and Doom Eternal is just continuing the theme, that's it.

Reading anything deeper into a game that just wants you to shoot hellspawn and roll your eyes at how over the top the UAC is in embracing Hell's BS in the process is downright wishing for mountains where there aren't even molehills.

Given how Bethseda seems to be letting their franchises turn into utter turds, it's just nice to see Doom being it's usual over the top self with a nice dose of self-aware inanity to lol at in between killing literal ungodly horrors.

How you manage to whine about that is just WTF incarnate.

It's Hell and Demons. Hell and it's inhabitants are literally Evil and Sin given form. Even the nonreligious explanation is that they are all just a bunch of ruthless murder machines.
What are they the victims of God's Patriarchy or some shit like that?

These headcases don't care, the "young account, must be a troll" are just flimsy excuses to make their decisions seem rational.

This happens a lot on reddit, too: apparently anyone that disagrees with leftist bullshit is a Russian shill or an /r/the_donald alt account. It works even better when they've banned so many people that people need to make a new account just to voice an opinion, only to have their young account used as justification for a ban.

Because discretion is just STUPID and LAME, isn't it? I mean, better to just go out there and shit yourself (metaphorically speaking) rather than encourage both personal and business stability!

I used to think Mike Pence was being overcautious in his behavior. Now I think he's being perfectly rational in the snake pit that is modern society.
