Folks in his chat were asking why Dave's big 'First ever Sponsored Stream' was being done 2nd stream and not first if number ov stream viewers was a consideration. Dave informed them that he's doing it on the 2nd stream because he can play the game for two hours ( thought he's only required to play it for one hour ) on the 2nd stream. He elaborated that he would have to stop the stream to play another game after the sponsored game's time allotment is up if he were to do this on the first stream. Changing games during a stream is apparently to much trouble.

Why would he have to switch games in the first place? Phil must already be planning on hating this game and he's prepared to shut it off and get his money at exactly the 120 minute mark and not a second longer.

Truly a man that does what he loves and has fun every day.

That is because that wasn't a multiplayer game. If he plays something like WoW where trolls can get right in his face he is going to have a meltdown

In this case I don't think Pigroach was fully wrong given how compulsive his hatebase can be on reporting stuff.

Still, this reeks of him intentionally setting up for failure, either to get more money from the speds he's indoctrinated into the Pigcult or due to fear of getting demolished in a multiplayer game that he knows people will know.

This is a fair point. Another possibility (based on twitter searches) is that it's for the new WoW expansion, which would also back up why he's not revealing anything--he's going to try and minimize the time available for trolling. That said, I don't think he'll rage since he knows he only has to make it an hour or so to get his money.

Someone mentioned before you need to have a certain amount of views for the bounty to count. It wasn't insanely high, but I believe you had to maintain them throughout the whole stream, so if Phil is just quietly pretending to enjoy the game, the view count may dip below the required number for the bounty, which might cause him to drop the fake act to beg for views.

The Twitch Bounty Program FAQ says that "Payout rates are initially calculated by factoring in the brand, your historical viewership metrics, and geographic location. You will receive the full payout for meeting the concurrent viewership requirement, while receiving a partial payout if you don’t meet the requirement."

I interpret "Payout rates are initially calculated" to mean that the "Payout" for the streamer has largely already been decided before the streamer gets the Sponsored game. If viewer numbers fall below Twitch's expectations, the streamer will receive only "a partial payout".

Dean's done all of the recent t-shirt designs for the 10th anniversary nonsense. The idea that nobody is making designs for him, when people make prestream art, thumbnails, emotes, and basically all of any creative shit you see related to him, is just...absurd. If he wanted to say that not a lot of people make designs, fine. But none? What?

What if there actually isn't a bountry stream planned at all and Dave set this all up so he can start an impromptu IRL stream where he whines about how the detractors ruin his life and every opportunity of success he gets?

Pigroach should just do IRL streams only if that's the case, because he clearly hates playing games and he makes the most of his pennies by doing his hours long cryfest where he acts like a total bitch anyways.

Had a random thought. Why not just skip the 2 hour prestreams and just do all of his shilling during gameplay? The streams are dead silent anyways aside from observational commentary and reading cheers every so often. At least the streams would be a bit more entertaining and then fatty would have more time for his Burger King runs and movie time.

You know what would be the perfect "Sponsored Stream" for Phil? One of those generic mobile "builder" games. Something like a cheap Clash of Clans ripoff. Think about it:

- First two hours of gameplay are basically reading from menus/tutorials
- Plenty of downtime/basic animations for Phil to "I dunno" through cheers for
- Phil's sense of value is so warped that "d00d I got some free gems!" would be a genuine point of hype for the guy
- A theoretically multiplayer experience, but you're hand-held and coddled through the first few days - nobody will ever see him rage over his 'army' getting their shit pushed in
- We know they're the only games he enjoys, since they're the only ones he can play in between WWE matches
