The situation with rape accusations and relationships isn't as bad as you think it is. I can regularly hug women and put my arm around them and they like it. Nobody is accusing me or anyone I've seen in person of rape for small gestures, touches, or looking. I would say this is because women actually like to be in relationships and be seen as attractive and get attention from men. They are wising up to the fact that false accusations ruin not just their current relationship, but all of their relationships. I like hearing about all these alternate reality versions of Trump that supposedly fail all the time and never branched out from real estate (or was only ever a reality TV host). It's too bad we'll never meet them.

MovieBob completely bungled the interpretation of Nightmare Before Christmas with his stupid fat hands. The takeaway from that movie isn't "he should have stayed in Halloween Town and learned nothing." My lord what a great big fat dumb idiot.

Late to the party as usual (this thread moves so damn fast), but if you desperately wanted to overanalyze the film, you could say "Nightmare Before Christmas" actually illustrates a healthy process of cultural enrichment. Jack's own culture is stale, at least for him; he seeks out something new, finds it fascinating, and wants to integrate it into his own world, but he doesn't understand it and bungles the whole thing. There's some serious fallout, but he realizes what he did wrong and moves to make amends. Santa Claus saves Christmas and, afterwards, demonstrates his forgiveness by giving Halloween Town something new and beautiful--snow. The film ends with each of the former antagonists acknowledging each other (Santa saying "Happy Halloween," Jack saying "Merry Christmas") and a celebration.

Bob is such a bitter little goblin of a man that he can't even recognize forgiveness and reconciliation in a freaking kid's movie. Christmas Town is not going to be demanding reparations two hundred years down the line or ordering Halloween Town to let in their elf refugees.
