I dunno. Call me crazy, but I don’t think it’s weird that kids who lived through this would have an opinion. I think anyone who believes that people with an opinion different from them must be paid shills are pretty exceptional themselves

Now I do believe there are people that profiteer off of tragedy and will spin this for their personal benefit. I don't believe these kids are those kinds of people, the trauma they went through is going to get all manner of feelings and opinions to come right out and they are more than entitled to that. Every time a shooting like this happens we've got one side immediatly yelling "gun control now!" and the other yelling "muh rights! false flag!" but no one talks about helping the victims and survivors get through the horror of what they just went through.

This is an astroturfed campaign by Dems and the Women's March people in order to get more opposition to Trump. Tim Pool did a video on a WaPo article where they handed out surveys and did research. Only 10% of the marchers under 18, the average age was 49 fucking years old. And they were 70% women with 72% having a BA or higher. Not only that, people who have joined this 'new movement' were not interested in gun control. Only 12% of new protesters cared about gun control. Most of them did it because of 'peace' and they hate Trump.
Not to mention the incident had nothing to do with gun control, it was a failure of authorities, Cruz's caretakers, the school itself and the government. It was a fuck-up of massive proportions and the whole gun-control thing just masks how incompetent the people in power were to the entire situation and how fucked the system is in the state of Florida. Want to make this not happen again? Fix the fucking system, purge that sheriff's office full of fucking cowards, fire anyone who ignored this shit. Punish people for fucking up, since this is partially their fault. But nope, wave the gun control flag.
The whole thing is a bunch of garbage put together by monied interests to keep the Dems alive for November in any way they can. This movement will fizzle out just like the Women's March and BLM did. They're getting more obnoxious and nobody wants to be lectured to by children. Also millenials and these teens don't ever vote so nobody in power gives a fuck.
