Scanner disabled until ResetEra comes back online and I can make whatever code adjustments I need to make. I'll have to figure something out for how to handle the old way of sorting boards.

ResetEra userbase is losing their shit over the new changes. The board change is legitimately bad. All the complaints about making the thread listing a mess is totally valid. I think they're trying to avoid any actual serious community schism, maybe the half-jokes about NeoEra scared Cerium. It's all damage control now. Their own base is attacking them, and there's no fallback userbase, they have an all eggs in one basket approach to community.

It's not fucking hard to run a forum. Even a site like Kiwifarms can maintain on-topic conversations without it derailing to shitheads trying to ban-bait others because they didn't like the latest Marvel movie or Switch game. It's amazing, people are surprised that a site known for banning users for the smallest grievances and/or not being lockstep in line with admin/mods political views, are stifling discussion. Doubly so when it's a fuckup due to those admins/mods idiocy.

Oh no, they can go anywhere they want. No, their problem is that the sites that they could go to won't bend over backwards to pamper them and cater to their whims (such as banning wrong-thinkers like Trump supporters and JonTron fans). Rather than swallowing their pride and having to adjust a little bit to slightly different rules, they resorted to making a new site that was tailored specifically to their tastes, and we all know how well that's turning out.
