I don't think (?) Aimee really believes the party is transphobic, he just was in so much shit that he the only card he had left to play was the transphobia one.

I'd say it comes down to the individual troon and how much of a sociopath/manipulator they are. But I think a significant majority truly believe they are the most victimised people ever, suffering brutal murders every day from every cis person ever. There'd also be quite a few who believe that, being victims, they're allowed to demand more and more privileges, even special treatment, because they're so hard-done-by.

The evidence of the ratking suggests that while some troons clearly use victimhood as a weapon and a tool to get what they want, they all seem to also believe that they are forever oppressed, which justifies things like lying and exaggerating to try and get what they want. Displaying a certain rat cunning, if you will.
