That's not even including Back to the Future, Part 2 and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. They were legitimate cultural touchstones whereas the reveal of SMB3 was the climax of a 100-minute-long commercial that (somehow) became a cult classic. It really speaks volumes about Bob's narcissism where he conflates his experiences with historical events.
You also had Do The Right Thing, a groundbreaking film about race relations still going on today. The Abyss showed some of the great advances of visual effects, setting the stage for Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park. My Left Foot and Glory also showed the world the amazing talents of cultural icons Daniel Day Lewis and Denzel Washington. Born on The Forth of July might not have been a culturally iconic film as Platoon, but Oliver Stone showed the world that Tom Cruise can really do well in dramatic work. All these events helped place shaped the modern pop culture we have today.

Hell, you want to know what's more iconic than the reveal of SMB3 in The Wizard? Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation music video, which showed some of the best choreography and themes of unity. The Seattle Grunge scene was also starting to boom as well that year.

1989, a great year I wished I experienced, had a lot more pop culture events that are iconic than a shitty 80s movie showing a video game that is not as great as Bob is putting.

My bad, though Bob probably would compare his achievements to founding fathers if he could find the slimmest comparison.

He may avoid the Founding Father's as they are considered problematic amongst the usual SJW crowds, unless they're being used to grandstand against evil orange Hitler, since they had slave owners among their ranks even though Thomas Jefferson himself said slavery would be a "hideous blot" upon American history and Washington actually ordered in his will that after he and Martha died that his slaves be freed.

I loved playing SMB3 but even pop culturally it wasn't the biggest thing that was Burton's 89 Batman that was one of the biggest movies I ever saw it was everywhere.

Also Bob shouldn't pat himself on the back to much it was Rick and Morty of course it got views of course leeching of pop culture is all he knows.

The books say that Ciri is a white Slavic beauty, both in its original language and the English translation. How do you fuck up that badly!?
They know what they’re doing, it’s not a mistake or fuckup. They’re forcing diversity to virtue signal and appear woke.

Edit: Aren’t the books pretty popular too? Not as popular as the game but they’re popular.

Moviebob resents the white guys who bullied him in school, associates them with conservatism and masculinity so he hates that stuff.

And if I recall correctly his criticism of DC comic movies is they constantly try to “fix” the stories and often do so with priorities other than the quality of the film in mind. The Witcher series is doing the same, and doing so on purpose too because they explicitly said they want a minority actress from the start. He just has a different opinion here because he has a knee jerk and reactionary attitude toward his own progressive politics.

It’s just that simple

The only way The Witcher series gets approved by Bob is if you slap the Marvel Studios logo on it.

I've seen bob sperg several times about trump building skyscrapers with concrete instead of, to use his words, "superior steel beam construction". The only problem with that is the vast majority of skyscrapers since the 80s through till today are built with a concrete and rebar core that has floor plates of steel and concrete mounted off of them. Purely steel construction hasnt really been done since stuff like the sears tower and john hancock in the 60s which were both designed by the same structural engineer.

From the tallest building in the world, the burj khalifa, to one wtc, to pretty much every single skyscraper currently going up in the us and china, this is how it is done. The only exceptions are cases where the site makes building a single large core unworkable, like a few of the skyscrapers in the hudson yard development in nyc which is literally built over train tracks. I could really sperg out and post some pics to drive the point home, but just google "tower verre" or "central park tower"

Also I pretty sure bob hasnt actually seen Dogville because it isnt meant to be the "whole universe" in a single town, its meant to be the USA you dumb fuck.
