Maybe it was flexing but I think it was moreso to do with proving CRP wrong. He did agree that his new videos may not be as good as his older (and admitting some of his older videos were shit like TGWTG) but that it still pulls an audience which the underlying implication CRP had was (no one likes your videos anymore and your content is becoming stale) but was too pussy to say it directly to Jim. CRP has always been a tip-toeing faggot that snakes around. Also he probably heard when Jim said he's gotten popular with the Incel community which probably didn't sit well with him thinking he was essentially calling him Gustavo the Incel King.

I think the problem with that video is that if you watched Jim's appearance on PKA when they talked about Wings you've heard it all.

Just so I'm not being accused of a Jim dickrider, here's legit criticsim of Jim's recent vids: His latest videos just offer re-hashings and don't seem as planned and well thought out. Some are just too short and don't rely on his original commentary instead relying on listening to things the audience probably already heard about. They just don't offer new enough takes on things and doesn't have enough of his banter that people like.

The restera one was the one i was most looking forward too but it was complete shit in all honesty. It really felt like it was going to lead up to the stream but it was more Mundane Matt Spering. Yeah the resetera one wasn't that good. I was expecting him to have gone off and found some secret forum offshoot from REEE-Era or to have gotten into the discords where they do their ops and decide which internet personality or games industry worker they need to target a hate mob towards next on.

Yeah, the ResetERA was bad. Everyone who likes gaming knows about the NeoGaf - ResetERA drama and how fucktarded ResetEra is. It didn't really offer anything new or things people didn't already know about. Much as I loved the Mundane Matt and Bunty King stream, I was bummed out it wasn't a full trashing of ResetEra, and some of his recent vids/streams have been good to me, but I felt they could be better. I'd dislike that a lot of his streams are him reading superchats now, but the resulting banter is pretty fun sometimes. Guess I have a nice middleground here.
