When Sam Harris said he wouldn't have him on his podcast because Sargon was just a troll and Sargon went on to moralize about how it's just internet culture and Sam doesn't get it. He was 37 when he was a "gamergate troll", not exactly young, but now he's pretending that he's anything more than a dude who screamed at feminists on the internet.

Fair enough. I think there's a substantial part of his audience that really appreciates the IBS/Skeptics stuff.
I reckon a lot of people saw his channel and the skeptic community grow alongside each other, and want to see the skeptics with all their insufferable smugness knocked down a peg.
And in that regard, 2018 has provided amazing content, going all the way from Kraut to what we have now.

My personal theory is that Jim is dying and he's just trying to make some bank for his kid and Jade before he goes. I'm not even kidding, being in the hospital for 2 weeks isn't a joke.

He's got some degenerative disease. Jim has mentioned on more than one occasion that he'd probably kill himself at some point in his 40s or 50s, and be the first man to livestream a swan-dive into an active volcano.
Now, the whole absurdity suggests that he was obviously joking, but there could be a kernel of truth to it.

Maybe he does have a rough idea how much time he's got left.

I've watched Sargon for a while but I can't watch Metokur because of his extremely obnoxious attitude.

Well, I don't know Jim's exact motivations, but I can give you the best hypothesis I can. There are some (((((Coincidences))))) of channels that either speak against the skeptic community disappearing. Harmful Opinions, Godwinson, Dame Pesos and so on. Godwinson got removed because he had a very strong dislike of MundaneMatt and Sargon and wasn't afraid to pull a Jim and fuck with them a bit. Harmful opinions got removed for speaking against the community as a whole when they all took deals with Candid which is a social media company that created an AI that the skeptics that shilled for it helped build. The AI got sold back to google where it is most likely being used to censor and demonetize videos and comments. %90 of all the "Free speech advocate" skeptics were paid by Candid to sell it to their audiences where it would later be used as a tool of mass censorship. That whole ordeal caused a big split on the community as a whole, and a lot of people walked away from the skeptics after that. Now as far as Dame Pesos, he was false flagged by Matt like 10 fucking times and Matt's exposure of the false flagging fractured the community even more. Between the kraut drama, the Jeff holiday Drama, The candid drama, the harmful opinions' drama, and so on, Jim has appeared to amass a community around him that absolutely hates the skeptic community because of the wrongs they have done. as far as Sargon himself, He was the one that fired the first shot and threatened to dox Jim and Jim's stream shitting on Sargon was a response. Since Jim has an entire audience that hates the skeptic community, it's a very lucrative venture to make streams shitting on them. Anyone that has actually gone through the skeptics dirty laundry is more or less on Jim's side because the list is very long of the wrong shit they have done and a part of me thinks Jim just loves rubbing their noses in it.

Here is the thing, Jim loosing all of his subs would still not hurt him as much as it would Sargon with a dent in his subs. I'm not "fellating someone's ego" I just can't see any reason why Jim is in the wrong. He's laughing at morons, which is what we do. I fail to see how him laughing at morons is any more offensive than what we're doing in text form.
