I actually just watched the part of Jim's stream where he explains that the reason that he interrogated a 17 year old about his boyfriend is that he believed that he may really be 19, and wanted to use that as leverage to "fuck with him" and potentially tell his parents, who didn't know that he was gay/pansexual. Now I'll be clear that a 19 year old dating a 14 year old is creepy af and I would never condone it, but if Jim were genuinely concerned about the victim you'd think that he would just do the mature thing and report it to the police. That would be the easiest and quickest way to help, no? Instead, he apparently wanted to relish in the joy of blackmailing someone and potentially getting him disowned by outing him to his family. That tells me that he didn't actually care about the victim at all and just thinks that it's funny to wreck lives, as long as he has the excuse of doing it to a "creeper" or whatever. If he's the type of person who thinks that outing people to their families is some hilarious for the lulz prank, you bet I won't feel sorry for him if he gets "doxxed," though I also wouldn't encourage anyone to do it.
